Vampires tend to have a lot of sex appeal. It may be because evil Is sexy for some, but not all vampires are evil, so maybe it's because they're bad boys or sultry femme fatales. Maybe people just figure hundreds of years of practice at love making makes vampires really, really good at it. On the other hand, tThe bloodsucking may be a great fetish source, something about a quick sting of pain followed by pleasure.

When a vampire is hungry and isn't quite so decent or hard up as to lower himself to only buying blood at the butcher's or trapping and draining small animals instead, their dietary supplement of preference is human blood. However, vampires can make the experience of being a drink box not just bearable, but pleasurable for the donor.

Things didn't always go as planned. That much all of the Crew of Light had known. When Jonathan had promised himself that Mina would never have to walk in that dark alone, he didn't realize he was already tainted too. There had been signs all around them, but Van Helsing and the others were always so focused on Mina. Waving off the oddities of Jonathan as grief or side affects of the brain fever.

They had all been wrong.

It was a few years later, and Jonathan was more at ease with what he was. He still didn't like it. Maybe Lucy wouldn't have had to die if they had all known the things Jonathan knew now. Not that he had been there to try and help save Mina's beloved friend, but he would always be there to try and protect his beloved.

"The moon is quite lovely tonight." He mused as they walked down the street together. It was dinner time, and he preferred to hunt with her than alone.

If only they had focused on Jonathan.
If only they had paid more attention to the signs, perhaps he wouldn’t have to share this cruel gift with her, or even if he did, Lucy would still be with them. But there was just so much none of them had known when it mattered and their fates had been sealed by their sire’s whim and desire.

Things were… Manageable. With Jonathan’s help, Mina had learnt to adjust to this new life, had come to accept their reality and in truth it didn’t feel so lonely when there was the two of them to make sense of it. It went entirely against her idea of their ideal marriage, but in its own way, it had become ideal. They were together, even in darkness.

“It is, indeed.” She pressed her hands down to adjust her skirts, wiping some imaginary dust off the fabric before looping her arm around his, glancing up at the sky. The night was their mistress now; sometimes she still resented that. “And the streets aren’t overly crowded. It should make our task easier, don’t you agree?”

[ Unsurprisingly for anyone who knows her (and to the surprise of anyone who has no idea what the goddess of death is actually like), Ereshkigal is most definitely the victim here. She can be either willing or unwilling depending on the circumstances. In the scenario where she is cool with it, she has to be convinced there is a really good reason for her to "donate" her blood.

I would love for bites to have a hypnotic and / or addictive effect, as well as for them to induce bliss and pleasure. I am not super interested in actual smut, but if the scene ends up naturally leading there? Then why not. Links to the permissions and the kink list are all on my journal if needed.

Oh and fair warning to any and all would-be vampires: her blood is cold. Damn cold. So is her skin for that matter. On the other hand, her blood is quite literally divine so perhaps that's a good trade-off? ]

And because Monika is so desperate for affection, it doesn't take much to convince her to do it depending on the person and / or how good they are at manipulating her emotions.

During her time in the castle, Cora had grown accustomed to a more nocturnal schedule. In truth, part of it had been because of the nightmares that still lingered at night. Finding her rest during the day had helped more than she'd realized, leaving her wide awake and active during the night. With the Count by her side she didn't feel the lingering fear or panic, nor the worry that anything or anyone could harm her. It was... strange, almost. To trust someone so wholeheartedly. She'd put her life in his hands -- quite literally -- and it was safe.

She finds him in the library, stopping in her tracks and leaning over to peek at the book he's reading. "You must've read these hundreds of times, huh? Why don't you let me pull you away for a walk in the gardens? Or... maybe a dance?"
