Come To My Window

You know the drill from every nineties movie/tv show known to man, because apparently there were no doors in the nineties: you, oh poor you, are stuck up in your room, and then, a rock is thrown at your window! Why, who would do such a thing? No, it's not some kind of burglar coming in to steal all your...private room things, it's your childhood friend from next door (who totally has a crush on you/you're nursing a crush on), your free-spirited boyfriend or girlfriend, or another rebellious love interest who has a long, long ladder and no need for conventional entrances. Why are they here? To finally confess their secret feelings for you? Give you your first kiss? Sneak you away because your parents don't approve? Maybe they have a crappy home life and just need somewhere to stay.

Whatever the case may be, open those window panes and get ready for sneaking in, sneaking out, and possibly making out.

Inspired by all those teen movies where love interests climb in through windows. Play it as straight or as ridiculous as you want. Age your character down. I don't care, I'm not the boss.

[ He's done this more than once before. Sneak into a rich lord's mansion, discretely lift a few jewels and bits of finery, and leave without a trace. Noble houses were full of expensive trinkets that probably wouldn't even be missed, and a nice pearl necklace could afford enough food to feed both his gang and the urchins they looked after.

Wearing a hooded cloak concealing most of his face, Yuri moves along the roof of a building where he'd noticed an open window. Opened just a notch, it's enough for him to slip his hand inside and open from the other side. He crawls in to a room full of books. Knowledge isn't what he's after, so keeping his eyes and ears open, he quietly begins to move... ]

It was such a cheesy move that Mutsumi couldn't help but grin as he did it: tossing pebbles at Kyouya's window like something out of a rom-com. It was as cheesy as, well, a Host Club, which had delighted him the moment he'd learned about that.

All of the Host Club were really interesting people, and the chaos they came up with whenever Mutsumi happened to run into them (admittedly, mostly during the few times Kissho Academy's and Ouran Academy's class trips overlapped, but he'd seen them around a few other places, to his pleasant surprise!) was definitely a blast. But Kyouya had really caught his interest. On the surface he had a smooth charm and an intimidating chill, he was so polished, but there was something underneath all that...

Well, they'd talked enough that he'd gotten the feeling that Kyouya wouldn't immediately tell him to get lost the moment he did this, anyway. ♪

And also the feeling that maybe Kyouya could use a little time away from his house and his family. So maybe it was risky, but it was the weekend and Mutsumi was pretty sure Ootori-san wasn't even home, so he tossed another pebble anyway -- then lifted his hand in a wave as Kyouya opened the window, keeping his voice down somewhat just in case. "Yo. ♪"

Kyouya had been listening to music, so the first few pebbles had gone unnoticed. It was the shadow rather that caught his attention, and had him pulling the headphones down and setting the pencil on the desk where he was working on an itinerary for an upcoming trip.

Walking over he opened the window and looked down to see Mutsumi. A rather curious boy he'd met when they had taken a class trip. The two of their groups had intersected for a brief period, and then it had occurred again a few months later on a separate trip, something that seemed rather peculiar since generally the trips were a bit more exotic than most schools made.

There was something about the other, about Mutsumi which Kyouya could bring himself to ignore and brush off as he did so many others. Perhaps Tamaki and the others had caused him to open up more and to be more susceptible to these moments of fancy. It certainly wasn't something his father would approve of, not with all that was left to be done.

"Please tell me you haven't been going around doing this at each of the windows trying to find mine."

It was a surprise none of the servants or guards had noticed yet. Still Kyouya took a moment to sit on the window seal and look down.

"You could have simply called my cell."
