Doyle had been gone, as was expected of most days, he still hadn't made much headway with Angel beyond a conversation here and there. Whenever things got heated, one or the other would walk off, leaving the other behind. It was fine though, he still considered the vampire his best friend. And he was still getting by with his gambling winnings. Though, he had had to borrow some cash from Cordy now and then to get going. He knew better than to not pay her back, and while he was in the black he always paid her back, with extra towards the bills or whatever she wanted to use the money for.

He used to make his rent that way, and he didn't have rent, but he wasn't the most comfortable living completely free. This was what brought him to the Hyperion tonight. From somewhere in the hotel, music was playing, an old song. Maybe Angel had left something on when he and the others left, It's been a Long, Long Time by Kitty Kallen and Harry James was playing after Moonlight Serenade had just finished playing.

Doyle had come in silently, not even on purpose of being quiet, but he saw Cordelia flipping through bills, a script? Who knew? Possibly, the music was for a part. But the Irishman slipped up behind her, a hand going behind her back as he pulled himself close to her, instead of pulling her to him. He had clearly been drinking, he smelled like beer and his aftershave. He was in the same brown shirt he had been in that morning, his jean's had seen better days, one knee busted out since he saw her that morning. The bruise on his cheek, and some blood on his undershirt, signs he had seen some trouble today. "May I have this dance, Princess?" He asked playfully, mischief sparkling in those blue eyes again.

He had had Frankie T drop him off, not even worried the man would come inside, enough people knew about Angel to keep him safe. He'd come to escort Cordy home and give her half of his night's winnings, but who said he couldn't have some fun with it?

[ Deities sure like to party day in and day out. He certainly doesn't understand the extravagance of flaunting their status and power. Much like Zero, he didn't really care for such daunting things. He was fine being lazy and doing absolutely nothing at least until he was forced on patrolling duty with the God of the Underworld himself.

How much time has passed since he's been here? He's not sure anymore. There are still a lot of holes in his memories. Since he's actually bound to a God, and one which he truly cares about, he'd rather not randomly Blight his brother.Funny how that works. He hasn't forgotten. The things he's done, but the both of them seemed to have worked out their differences for the time being.

It seems the ballroom was lacking in the festivities, and some gods saw fit to make it a little more 'entertaining.'

Not that Ichiru cared too much for their shenanigans. The only reason he allowed all these goddesses and silly female shinkis to borrow him for a time, was to mess around with his brother. It happens when you become too friendly with people and then have to maintain such a facade. He was good at too and it sure didn't do him many favors today. He didn't seem to bothered though. Silver locks adorned in light lavender jewels and florals, lips slightly tinted pink. His silver strands were attached with extensions, letting long locks cascade over his shoulder.

An almost Victorian-inspired dress matching them of the night, a masquerade with a European touch. Gods really were bored. The shoes were partially uncomfortable due to their slight height.
