Nope. Demons were here to stay, the same as dark-minded people with selfish desires. Devil hunter, BSAA soldier, police officer, they would all continue to be needed. Well, the former at least was rare and didn't see a huge amount of needed. Luckily. Dante wasn't naive enough to think Limbo City wouldn't happen again. People who desire would find ways to try and get what they wanted, without giving a shit about who paid for it.
Dante still trusted the Order; despite his brother's misguided ends, he meant well, and the Order came from those good intentions. For now, Kat and the others remained focused on their own work, while Dante continued to help Chris. Eventually they'd cross again.
"Yep. I was only in there ten minutes," Dante smirked, waiving off the concern. He never needed long showers, just took them cause he could in Chris' apartment or when he had his own trailer. Not like his sword ran out of heat.
There'd be no problem with the tank refilling by the time they were done with their meal. It was probably all back up again within 30 minutes. Dante wasn't a stranger to cold showers either, even if he didn't really prefer them. Minus coming in from a hot day, then a cold shower could be quite pleasant. For a bit.
"Threatening me with a good time, Chris?" Dante retorted with a grin, bobbing a pizza crust at him before chomping down on it. He felt good about Chris being more comfortable letting go of work with him. He didn't want to see the man burn himself out. And if he could help with that? Damn right.
