Kaibara Municipal High School was kind of crap compared to this one. To add insult to injury, Edward was... unfairly attractive. Kyo found himself stealing glances every now and then. There was some lingering similarity to his cousin Momiji, but unlike the stupid rabbit, Edward had firm lines and maturity in his bearing that Kyo appreciated. He trained hard for his role and activities and it showed. As the cat slowly began to accept that his roommate truly meant him no disrespect, but rather the opposite sincerely, Kyo calmed down more around him.
Which kicked off the other problem. One that rose during the night as Edward slept and Kyo sat in the window beside the blonde's bed, red eyes glowing behind the fire-hued bars of his hair as he stared at his roommate's sleeping form. Less at him visually, but more the pulsing run of crimson through Edward's veins. Someone so noble and proud, upright and fair... He could claim him. Keep the blonde teen as his own. Tempting. But he pushed the thought away when it arrived and carried on his way, hoping the urge would fade in time.
