✱ Comment with your character. Feel free to include a link to a picture of them at their best/most flattering/cutest/beautiful/handsome/most appealing/etc.
✱ Other characters areforced to ~~gently compelled~~ to admit the one part of yours they find the most attractive. Hair? Eyes? Muscles? That height? That mole? That ass...umption that they're a great person?
✱ Your character now has to flip all the scripts and fess up to others.
✱ Rinse. Repeat. Regret.
✱ Of course, if they're boring, some people might be drawn to a personality trait over a physical one.
✱ But that cute smile, tho. Lemme swoon.

[ She says with that kind of fake confidence that can make it actually seem like it is. The thing is, he's known her long enough that he can read her tics and look into her eyes and know she's saying it's "alright" when it's far from it in order to drop the subject or avoid any kind of raw feelings that might make or break an interaction.
Jill takes the extra squeeze as an opportunity to lean into him and wrap her arms around his chest. She smiles a little better now, but it's not easy to make out from the angle she's at. ]
After all this time, I'd like to think that's the case. I just don't know how to ask for the things I need sometimes.

[ Regardless of what she says, he wishes he could hunt the man down and kill him with his bare hands for what he's done. Joel doesn't know everything but he knows enough to want to kill the man; Torture him, beat him to a pulp until he can't stand and shoot him dead in the streets on his knees. It isn't his right but a selfish part of him wants to avenge her. The other part wants to bring him on his knees to serve up to her on a platter. He knows it's not possible either way, but it gets to him.
The important thing right now was how she was doing about it. He knows she's saying it in a way to protect him and herself. Joel knows how it is to say something untrue for the sake of someone else, but this isn't the same as lying. It's adverting and he also knows that well enough.
When she leans into him he it just makes him hold onto her tighter. He gently rests his chin on the top of her head before tilting his cheek to give a small nudge of affection. His hands search for something to do momentarily moving against her back to settle better against her. ]
It's alright. [ He says it in a way he'd attach 'baby girl' to it and that raw emotion of trying to be both comforting and fiercely protective at the same time. The only thing stopping him is that she ain't his daughter. She's a different kind of love but someone equally precious to him. She was an equal, a confidant, a partner, and dare he say lover in everything that encompassed something whole and worthwhile. She gave him purpose and the kind of trust and loyalty she had from him was unwavering. ] Think we both could use some help with that.
[ There's a pause as he takes a moment to think about things.]
I ain't going anywhere and I want you to know I'm in this for the long haul.

[ Jill knows things would be different if Wesker was alive. Even if Joel isn't capable of taking him down -- who would have been? -- she understands where he would come from and what he'd want to do. Jill had wanted to kill Wesker for her own reasons and frankly, if anyone or anything wanted to do something to Joel, she'd kill them. Jill couldn't let anything happen to him, wouldn't and she'd go as far as she did for Chris if not farther. Dying wasn't ideal, but she'd never allow someone she loved to take a hit when she could do it for them. He's too important, too wonderful; he makes her heart feel heavier and lighter all at once.
She sighs when she's held tighter and she arches up into him before nudging into him, trying to take comfort from the weight of him. He always manages to make her feel a little more human, a little less like a monster that's unable to find reprieve. His height is comfortable and having him above her and against her makes her feel encompassed in affection and it has her sigh, feeling like she can purge some of that hate that she's holding onto. For now, she holds onto him more tightly and wraps both of her arms around him and breathes in just as heavily as she exhales. ]
Now who is saying "it's alright"? [ She laughs softly, awkwardly, and a little clipped. She hears what he's saying, though, and it's soothing to her. It's something that she feels deeply important and it matters to her in a way that nothing else has for a long time. Jill felt lost without the BSAA, but now that she's with him... it matters in a way that nothing has for a long time -- maybe in a way that nothing ever would again. ] We can learn more together.
[ She isn't sure how to deal with it to be honest, but she knows as long as he can support her and he allows her to support him, that they'll be able to carry on and grow together. ]
I won't abandon you, Joel. [ She is careful to phrase it that way, to know not only that she's also not going anywhere, but she won't tire of him. ] I really love you and I want to make sure you know it, always.
