[Although she remains smiling, concern for him comes through in the way her eyebrows furrow together when he grips her hand tighter. Pleasant meeting or not, she isn't keen on being the one to unwillingly hurt someone that doesn't deserve it.

The other option is that this has been some elaborate ruse to hit on her and while that does seem like it'd fit Kaito's teasing nature, her gut says otherwise. And she always follows her gut.

Now armed with the pictures and presented with a pen, she blinks a couple times.]

[Lords, she's slow today. His meaning finally sinks in and she jolts back as though it's her on the receiving end of whatever curse plagues Kaito, allowing her to take the pen and sign each with her name along with a rose flourish.]

[With a huff directed at herself for getting so flustered yet still smiling, she holds the pen and photos out to him, one in each hand.]

[ In hindsight, he could have called it a ruse. Either way, he's relieved to cut that constant connection to Rose's emotions—even if a small part of him fusses a bit at having let go of her hand.

At the very least, her delayed response to his little joke prompts a laugh. ]

You've got it, [ he repeats teasingly while watching her work that autograph magic. Kaito graciously accepts pen and photo once returned, flicking a sleight of hand to vanish both of them out of sight in favor of a hefty pouch of clinking gald coins. It's offered forward. ]

This wasn't how I expected a conversation with someone selling photos of herself and her friends in various states of undress would go, y'know? But I'm pretty happy about it.

[ Kaito starts to turn on his heel, but pauses mid-swing to turn back and face the redhead again. ]

[ A small laugh, followed by a wave and a grin. The empath pivots properly this time, then slinks away with a little bounce in his step. ]

[Out of habit Rose takes the coins and immediately stashes them away with a nod and quick salute, still marveling at how he can just make things vanish into thin air. That's definitely not something the average person is capable of and she'll have to ask sometime, just not right now.]

[Idly feeling over the hand he'd been holding with her other one, she nods in agreement and laughs.]

Life's full of surprises, isn't it? That's why you can't assume anything or take it for granted! I made more than I ever would've bargained for today.

[Her smile becomes a full grin as he stops to address her again, allowing her to wave properly.]

[She lets out a melodic laugh at that, tucking both hands behind her head as she returns to minding her booth.]
