Well, yeah. I could lecture you about moe culture, but honestly, I'm looking at a really cute girl in a cute but sexy outfit. Why wouldn't that be art?

Art is something that's created, isn't it? I don't think this fits such a qualification.

Well, I could always ask my dad to draw it. He's actually a pretty successful artist. But right now, this is something that I get to see that nobody else has ever seen, or might ever see again. Isn't that a lot more like art than just finding something off the street and sticking it on a wall like some of those postmodern artists do?

Come on, not so fast! I'm not saying stuff like that doesn't have artistic merit. In fact, sometimes you can make a pretty powerful statement with something you find out on the street or in a junkyard or some place like that. But sometimes, even if an artist ends up making a profound statement, they were just trying to create something that they like the look of.
