"And yeah, I know. Steph seems good. We've talked a little and bonded over crappy biological dads."

"Do you think we could get in and out and tag some of the shipments to get those available to follow and take them before they're all individually given out?"
Tim sits up and starts getting his grapple and bugs out, it's a silly question because of course they're capable. It's whether it's part of Jason's plan tonight.
no subject
He takes out his own grapple and bugs but doesn't turn back on the safety in his guns yet.
"Should be easy enough. Looks like we just got the usual goons to sneak past tonight," he replies.
no subject
He has his grapple out and swinging off the roof and towards the warehouse in the next moment. Landing silently he waits for Jason to join him before they proceed to a prepared entrance.
"In and out in five minutes, see you back up here."
no subject
"See you soon," he says before firing his grapple and swinging closer to a shipment.
Under the darkness of the night and sneaking past goons he starts tagging the crates.
no subject
He's as silent as they're both been trained to be and quick on his feet. Hopping over crates and hiding in the shadows and he drops bugs into any open containers that he can get to.
Tim keeps a count of the thugs as he goes along and there are more inside than he's seen enter since his stakeout began; enough that he's a little more worried about being caught and starting to wonder if there's another entrance he doesn't know about.
no subject
Once he feels he's planted enough listening devices outside of the warehouse, he quietly swings back up on top of a shipping container in the dark.
"Done on my end. What's your status?" He whispers into his comm.
no subject
There's only a flash of colour when he moves his hand up to this comm.
"Done, but I think there might be a reason why we haven't seen any important names. There are way too many people inside for what's come and gone while I've been watching. I think we have a second entrance"
no subject
"More ground to cover then. You think we need one more backup?" he says.
As much as Jason would love to brawl, he has to play within Bruce's rules now and has to consider other options besides mowing down every smuggler.
no subject
"We'll need more backup if we plan to do anything tonight. If they're shipping this all out tonight we'll get Oracle to pass on the bug's signals to the GCPD but I think we should concentrate here. See if we can find that second entrance discretely," It's clear that Tim is going through possible scenarios.
no subject
"The second entrance might be somewhere closer to the edge of the pier, towards the street. Maybe an underground tunnel. We checked here before but not under."
no subject
"It might even just be to another warehouse a block or so down. Just enough to deflect attention away from this place and the activity going in and out." Tim also looks around the pier but the place generally has people moving back and forth even at this time of night.
Tim sighs and goes to slip back inside, "Come on, we've got to give inside a more thorough scan"
no subject
He then pauses and stares at the surprisingly busy warehouse and the smugglers around.
"Whoa."
no subject
"There are already more here than there were a second ago." He comments before he talks into the com; Jason will be able to hear as he communicates with Oracle but the changes to their status for the evening. He gets a confirmation of Batgirls incoming before Tim drops the conversation.
"Let's go, find out where all these men are coming from."
no subject
"Hopefully it's just one we missed," he says. "You have use more guards the more entrances you got."
no subject
They slip through the warehouse keeping up on the catwalks and avoiding the few guards that are up there. Following the flow of men as they move back and forth. There's no obvious set of stairs on the main floor but there's a set of offices against one wall. It's the only option and there's no subtle way to get inside.
no subject
"This is a lot. We must've found the hub," Jason murmurs. "We definitely need at least a third person to finish this and make it out alive."
no subject
They still don't know where this goes though and there's no real way to ensure that they'll get through it without this end being alerted. They could knock out a couple of people but the movement back and forth is too steady to hide for more than a minute at most.
They could get everyone here but if there's anyone important on the other end, they'd likely get away.
"I think we need everyone."
no subject
But Tim was right. They had underestimated how large this operation is and it's better to bring in the others if they want any chance at success.
"Fine. Hope no one else had plans tonight," he says. "We're making this a family outing."
