Accidental Curse

Magic isn't really predictable all the time, even when you do know what you're doing. And when something happens that you didn't expect, that just makes things even worse now doesn't it. Hope no one else was around!

How

1. Pure Accident
You didn't mean to curse them, but accidents happen and now you've got to deal with the consequences.

2. Wrong Target
You were casting a curse alright, but you hit the wrong person!

3. Flip flop
Right target, wrong spell. Wasn't that supposed to be a blessing?

4. Intentional
It wasn't an accident at all. You meant to curse them, and you did. Now time to reap the rewards.

5. Cursed Myself!
You were messing with magic and somehow managed to land a curse on yourself. Hope someone's around to help.


What

1. Physical
A physical change of some sort. Did they change ages, shrink, been turned into something else, maybe switched sexes. The nature of the curse is the changing of their bodies.

2. Mental
Perhaps they have to obey your every command now, or have magically fallen in love with you. The curse effects their minds, whether they know it or not.

3. Effected Surroundings
Maybe now bunnies appear whenever they sneeze or jewels dribble from their lips. The way the world around them is effected is now different than usual.
Alternatively, maybe people respond differently to them. Suddenly everyone wants them now, so they don't have a moment to themselves.

Wufei hadn't even been intending to do anything, much less to his partner. But the apparently active artifacts of power scattered around the house they'd raided didn't really care about that, just latching onto a brief thought of irritation he'd had towards Duo while stepping around them. If only the man was easier to manage. And then there'd been a flash of light from down the stairs where Duo was.

Immediately, Wufei turned on his heel to run down the stairs. "Duo! Are you alright?"

[ ooc;; here's the starter post to get the ball rolling. Don't worry about the lengthy wall of text, you need not mirror it. ]


{ Loki the Trickster, Loki the talented liesmith, Loki the deceiver and bringer of chaos and maliced tones but most of all; Loki the Sorcerer, does not let one single thread of his magic disperse onto the intended individual he plans on attacking, with a backfire. Which is why, based on today's events, it hadn't been the god of mischief's trickery that had been released but of amora's. If the doctor doom isn't wreaking his own havok upon the fantastic four that inevitably prompts the avengers to assist to help, it matters not in what form the innocent civilians of midgard are in danger; the world will always call upon those pesky beings and every time without thought, they will come.

Loki and Amora had been known to team up together to make the avengers' lives more difficult but this time was different. This time .. The two were fighting eachother; amora the enchantress all furious and unrelenting in her attacks of magic and agility in combat and loki; counterattacking every curse instigated by his sharp tongue and taunting curling of lips. The area they chose to take purchase to fight was striking lights of pink and green; the combination of magics thrusting themselves into collision thus rolling into the air. But one slip up and at least one of her attacks hit loki right in the chest, thus throwing him into the air and tumbling him down upon the earth.

With a groan, the raven haired god struggled momentarily in standing up aright but pushing himself up from the knees, loki hadn't noticed anything strange happening to him. Though the sorcerer knew amora was far too clever to let a fluke hit him and soon enough loki pressed the flat of his palm against his forehead as if he was trying to rid himself of a great headache and that was when he started feeling the effects of the curse. The next person he would see, loki would feel compelled to love and be near said person at all times. Being away from any such person would weaken loki and cause him much pain in the spiritual sense.

Well. Better take advantage of this, now shouldn't you. }

[So this random person dressed like a fairytale prince was simply chanting some weired stuff when you past by and got in the way of the curse. It is even possible that the curse didn't turn out as it should since someone refused to put on his glasses while reading the spell. Well nothing too bad should come from this.]

[The problem, Waver thinks, watching the usual blinding light come up and spread outward from the summoning circle, with commissions is that they're always going to end badly. People who paid for them were too lazy or too underpowered to do the work themselves, and there was something ridiculous about asking third generation mage to go back and try and pluck something out of time by someone infinitely more skilled at summonings than he was.

Again, lazy.

But it was a supplement to a research grant, and good money at that, so he had agreed. Summon up the staff of Merlin, take a sliver off it for analytical purposes, send it back.

The light clears, and Waver lets out a soft swear. There's a figure in the summoning circle, which means he's definitely done something wrong, and he needs to ready up a dismissal and a defense spell. Now.]
