Fold 'em, let 'em hit me, raise it, baby, stay with me. Welcome to the casino, where dreams are made and crushed at the whims of fortune. For some, the casino is a house of worship; for others, it's a den of devils, a peek into the darkest depths of hell. And as for you? Are you ready to win big, or lose it all?
1. WON BIG. Beginner's luck? Or veteran's skill? No matter what you attribute it to, facts are facts: you've just stopped that elusive triple-seven, or played a particularly good hand, and now the prize money is all yours. Are you going to save it for something nice? Maybe flash your winnings at the beautiful woman who's been sitting next to you, or ask the handsome dealer when his shift ends so you can spend it all on him? If you're feeling lucky, you can even double down. Just remember... the house always wins.
2. LOST IT ALL. You dared to gamble... and you lost everything that was on the line. Perhaps you're out a cool million dollars, or you're not going to have next month's rent money; maybe you even dared to wager something more dangerous, like your life, or some other irreplaceable treasure. Whether you go crying to your thread partner or they're the reason you lost, one thing's for sure: no one likes a sore loser, but you've got the right to feel like one anyway.
3. ON A MISSION. The casino is your destination, but you're not here to play games. What you're really here for is to cut a deal, or arrest your target — maybe even assassinate your mark. In a sea of unfamiliar faces, with money changing hands... yes, this is truly the perfect place for everything to go wrong.
4. FISH OUT OF WATER. Perhaps you've never been in a casino before, and you just don't know what to do — or else, the temptations of Lady Luck have simply never drawn your interest. Ello there. Bit of 1 and 2.
The short, dark haired man was dressed in a beat up brown leather jacket. One that had seen better days and screamed of the 70's with its wide lapels. A loud button up that was only half done up, with a green shirt under that. He looked like he could have fallen out of time. Or one of those hipsters who like to wear vintage clothes.
