Well, from start to this particular mid way point, where he's been left with no choice but to retrieve a bio tracker that isn't something the world at large needs to be aware of just yet. The fact that the tracker was implanted into a corpse and thus his day has been effectively devoted to grave robbing is by the by. The main thing is that it's done and tomorrow he can get back to his makeshift hotel room operations centre and the ordinary trauma of guiding 00 agents on their paths of destruction.

For now, it's late and the morgue's cold and the day he's spent under the cover story of being a visiting specialist from the UK has given him too much time to make eye contact with one of the pathologists. He knows next to nothing about Peter, besides his name, the peculiar intensity of his gaze and the fact that the feel of his knee pressed up between Q's thighs is... quite something.

Anything, at this point, to take his mind off the day is a welcome distraction, so it's been all too easy to let it come to this. He chases Peter's mouth again and murmurs:]
