Any interest in something with a rough-edged street punk with a heart of gold, iron-class sense of loyalty, and not a ton of self-preservation when it comes to people he likes? He gets AU'd a lot, but he's originally based in the aftermath of Akira, so Shady Organizations Weaponizing and Brutally Experimenting on Children is basically on brand.

I'm thinking of a situation where she's tried avoiding him to keep him safe but he "mysteriously" i.e. through unconscious precognition keeps blundering into situations where she's in danger and stubbornly interjecting himself. ...either totally unnecessarily but totally unwilling to not have her back, or helping just enough to give her an edge (e.g. by annoying/distracting her enemies). Could wind up anywhere from awkwardly fluffy to angsty or some messy combination.

Character(s) you're looking for: I would absolutely love any Tolkien-y characters (canon or original), especially any elves. Also down for fantasy characters, medieval characters, or anyone who would cope with an elf on their shelf in their life.
Ideas: Up for anything generally, friendly or antagonistic. I'm quite happy to have interactions both good and bad! She's a soft woman, but she's not fragile.

For the sake of being useful though here are just a few ideas that sound good:

– Something post the fall of Doriath when she is lost and upset and doesn't have the best judgement about where she should turn.

– Later ages when she is wandering from one Elven Kingdom to another, either meet her in one of those or come upon her in her travels. She almost always travels alone, and only lightly armed.

– Forest/nature magic; she won't call it magic, save when explaining it to humans fails but she has quite the skill with it and will be happy to teach anyone who wants to learn or learn from others with different or higher skills to her own, or conversely, use it against anyone who tries to hurt her or the forests.

– I think the struggle of someone trying to get her to settle down post-second age could be interesting. Like, make her stop covering up her traumas by acting as a travelling forest-doctor and instead settling in. Maybe as friends, first, then turned to something more if the chemistry is right.

– Arranged marriages are not very elvish, but they are fun to play and I'd love to try one with her.

– Various somehow survives into modern times without fading or losing her skills but has to blend in and hide can be fun.

– Some kind of doomed or forbidden romance
