Normal conversation - Sure, someone is getting gangbanged ten feet to your right, and sure, you can here someone shouting in French over the sounds of a whip cracking in the other room, but you're not otherwise occupied at this exact moment and someone is asking you something OTHER than "How do you feel about anal?" Can you carry on this conversation in these circumstances with a straight face?
Rehydrate - With all this physical exertion, it's important to take care of your body. The recovery room has snacks and drinks and lots of pillows.
