[ The phone shuts off with a click, before it finds itself resting against Jefferson's chin. He shouldn't say anything...but doesn't he have a right to know? She wouldn't say anything for fear of upsetting him, he knows her, or maybe he doesn't. Maybe he just hoped that he had, maybe this was a terrible idea.

It's the worst time imaginable for him to start feeling self-conscious and paranoid, so he pushes it down as hard as he can and waits for her to arrive, eventually standing to make his way towards the front door. Those tell-tale lights should be pulling up soon. ]
