✨HOW TO PLAY

If this is your first time meeting, you'll be compelled to share what kind of vibe they give off. It's okay to be honest! Are they gross? Do they seem approachable? Do you find them incredibly hot?

3. Find out if your first impression was correct! Maybe that strange loner actually has a heart of gold? You'll never know unless you talk to them!

Well look at how many mistakes Buttons makes, and nobody has tried to throw him overboard. [ That he's aware of. ] Not to mention I sewed my shirt into several flags before I figured out how to stop doing that. So I think mistakes are okay to make.

Ja... there are a lot of witches and vampires? [ He- he did notice that... but Frenchie can probably scare them off with things that witches and vampires don't like...

I don't always know if someone is a witch. [ He does tend to assume most cats he comes across are actually just witches but sneaking about as cats with their little knife feet. Because they're clever like that. ] Usually you can tell if they start cursing you, but by then it's too late. Why, have you come across any? [ He looks around suspiciously as if one is about to materialize out of nowhere. ]

...no... not yet... [ If Frenchie doesn't always know, it is a little bit scary! He decides to hide behind his friend a little, after all, they are in a public area... anyone could be here. ]

Better to get higher up, just in case. [ Frenchie climbs atop a nearby table and gestures for Swede to follow. He's aware that cats can climb, he's just being a little silly because hey it's good for the soul to be ridiculous from time to time. Also both Captains did teach him the art of nonsense/fuckery, and if anyone's going to go with him on this nonsense journey it's likely to be Swede. It's why they're friends! ]

[ If nothing else Swede can pull off a good fuckery, as long as he can pretend to be siren, mermaid or other being with a high singing voice. He instantly climbs up the table, excited about the whole thing. ]

I don't think... the witches can get us here? What do witches do when they catch you?

They turn you into frogs, or make it so you have bad luck for years. I'm pretty sure they're responsible for the weather somehow, I don't really know how it works. [ Frenchie is whispering slightly in case any witches are nearby, you never can be too careful. Most of these facts he's 80% sure are not actually true, but then again he's met some interesting people over the past few weeks since the ship has docked so who the hell knows anymore? ] What have you got on you, for self defense? Hiding behind your hair won't work. [ He knows Swede's tried and true methods. ]

[ The Swede contently sits down, swinging his legs over the side and smiling toothily. The table is safe! ] Oooh... you know so many things about witches, Frenchie...

I don't know that much about them actually. Just bits of information I've gathered over the years. [ Which is just piratey superstitious nonsense, but it's not like he's met an actual witch to tell him any different. ]

Then... you have to make sure she likes you... [ Swede has no idea how to make a witch like you, Frenchie! He knows nothing about ladies or witches.

For some reason, that bandana is not used for that because all his hair is always in his face. When Frenchie tucks all his hair behind his ears and the bandana, he suddenly has to face the world in it's entirety. Now, Swede's entire face is visible, including freckles on his cheeks and some very worried little eyebrows. ]

I don't know about this.... [ But there is proper eye contact now, that's a plus. He's looking directly at Frenchie! Look at him go. ]
