Can you write a thread where you rely only on dialogue? No description, no introspection, no other prose. Just character talk.

Rules
1. Comment with your character and info. On top of that, do not leave your top level blank; your comment should also include a line of dialogue. It can be original or taken from a generator, like so.

2. Other players come in and keep the conversation going.

3. Who knows where lines with little context may lead?

"Well, for one, I hated school. So I skipped a bunch and smoked pot and painted my nails black and acted all tough. Nothin' too nefarious, but I musta stolen more'n most's share of cheap paperbacks."

"I can't imagine you all Goth-y! I skipped school a bunch too. I actually didn't graduate high school until a few years ago when I went back to finish my senior year."

"If I was anything, I was a punk. I'm sure you woulda avoided me. Much as I hated school, it was a meal and outta the elements, so I stuck it out. But I didn't wanna. Most of the people I knew hadn't made it and I felt like a tool, but you gotta do what you gotta do, y'know?"

"That sounds really tough. Now I feel like a jerk for skipping my senior to hang out with Beyoncé in Myokonos."

"Like... the Queen B? In that case, I'm sure anyone would choose Myokonos."

[cutehugeyacht]

"Yeeeeah. But I can't talk about it much because of her ironclad NDA."

"Heh. Guess I can respect that. We've all got secrets we keep."

"So when did you decide to ditch the punk look?"

[oversight]

"When I started makin' a little money and gettin' serious 'bout joinin' the PD. My tastes are... curated, but haven't always had access. Anyway, I wasn't Sid Vicious out there, just stupid band tees and holey Chucks and too-long hair."

"Did you ever play the guitar or the drums? I could totally see you doing that. Raging against the machine and everything."

[oversight]

"Ff. I wish. More like ragin' at my cheap-ass used bike and nearly killin' myself deliverin' pizzas. What about you? Singin', dancin'. Didgeridoo?"

"I was a teen model for awhile. And then I was an original Pussycat Doll, but they kicked me out because I was like, too pretty or whatever. I was pretty all over the place growing up."

"Does that make it harder to stay in one place now? Or don't you?"

[cutehugeyacht]

"I spent a lot of time in Schitt's Creek putting my life back together. It was nice being in one place. I travel still now, but not as much."

[oversight]

"Guess I appreciate that you do or maybe we woulda never met. And... thanks. You really are a good listener."

[cutehugeyacht]

"I'm really glad we met too. How are you feeling now?"

"A bit better, yeah. Must've just needed to get a little space in my head."

"I'm good at that too! Getting people's mind off things. You ever need a pick me up, I'm your girl."

"Definitely will keep that in mind. In the meantime, I owe you one, okay?"

[cutehugeyacht]

"No, you don't! You don't owe me a thing."

[oversight]

"Well, okay, what I mean is that I'm here, too. If you ever need anything."

"Yeah? You're a sweetheart, you know."

"That sounds like flattery."

"No, I mean it!"

"Yeah, yeah, of course! I—I know you do, definitely. Thank you. Um. It's— very kind. Thanks."
