SCENARIOS:
① Took longer than I thought → Maybe you went on a voyage and presumed dead. Maybe you were stranded on an island, kidnapped by pirates, or lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Whatever the case, you're back now, to everyone's great surprise.
② Amnesia → You sustained a traumatic head injury that left you unable to recall your identity. It's all come back to you and now you're faced with the realization that the people who knew you before have moved on with their lives.
③ Sleeping Beauty → Due to magic, science, or some happy marriage of both, you were put into a deep sleep to be awakened at some point in the future. Maybe your friends and family weren't aware of the plan. Wakey, wakey.
④ Only mostly dead → Think Frodo and Shelob. You're thought dead and your body's left behind. Only, you weren't as dead as everyone thought. Oops.
⑤ Faked it → Maybe you've been put in witness protection or you're a secret agent no one can know exists. For whatever reason, you had to fake your own death. Now it's safe to go back to your life. How are you going to explain that?
⑥ Back from the dead → You really were dead. But you're not any more. Whether it was divine intervention, Dr. Frankenstein, or aliens, you're alive and kicking once again.

[An occasion that is always proceeded by increasingly ominous thunderstorms. Or at least a flying thunderstorm-making hammer suddenly smashing through the core of your planet.]

{ It hasn't even been long and it seems as if nobody cared about his death- in truth, he had died. Just for a brief few moments but he had amnesia when he woke up in a whole new world. Once he started to regain his memory, his first plan of action was to get revenge on his br- no, not brothers, thor . First he wanted to see the effect he had on everyone, which .. hadn't been as satisfying as he planned. The sudden idea to reveal himself to the thunderer was surprising even to himself but he went through with it- his appearance wasn't healthy looking in the slightest, he was weak and it looks like he literally went to hell and back. Pale as all getout, loki heard the door click open and turning around he waited to see thor's reaction. }

[It was sudden when it happened; he had just finished making dinner and then it hit him like a ton of bricks. He heard Dojima call out to him from the other room, felt his body hit the hard floor, and barely saw the look on Nanako's horror struck face before his eyes closed.

There was...nothing. No other voices and no figures telling him what was going on. It was like time froze for him.

As to why, no one knew. Of course they rushed him to the hospital and ran their tests, but it all came non conclusive. To everyone else, he was just sleeping. But hours turned into days...into weeks even.

Seriously, how the hell did he get into that long of a sleep?]
