Maybe your heart isn't fully into trying. [Bucky shrugs. It sounds kind of empty. It almost sounds like one of those, 'just pull yourself up by your bootstraps', 'you should try harder to just get over eight decades of trauma' pep talks that are confusing and demoralising and belittles any attempt at turning anything around. But three times to him just suggests that Clint might be torn between family and the sacrifices involved in doing the right thing.]

If you ever need help, I can lend a hand. [He's grown some things. It would keep him occupied and just getting something started would be half the battle won.] Maybe having something you need to check on and water everyday will keep you on the farm. ['And out of trouble' is implied. Although working on a farm is plenty of trouble in and of itself.]

I don't think you're ready for goats. [Although he appreciates the sentiment that Clint's family might even want him sulking and skulking around their place. The number of people who trust him around children, even if he's not terrible with them, he can count on the one hand.]

Maybe you should start with some corn. [Wouldn't he love to lose his kids in an a-maize-ing maze?] You can make. Salad and bourbon? [He's really selling this idea hard. Can Clint tell?]
