[Nathaniel nods. The most notable thing about this encounter isn't that Jason could potentially be trans (the djinn doesn't go around trying to "clock" humans, as a general rule), but that they're making an effort to be polite. That's pretty rare, and unheard of when Nate presents as an obvious demonoid creature.]

Jason. And humans are very good at pretending they are selfless, and generous. It breeds suspicion. I understand this as well.
