[ She wants to hire him but she doesn't have anything to offer him for it, he wonders if the Resistance would approve that as an official expense if they knew. It probably wouldn't be an automatic no at least, he's got a reputation and they've seen it for themselves a couple of times now that he's earned that, but on the other hand he knows they don't deal with mercenaries if they can help it, and he's never taken up that kind of work himself either. Maybe if they had something extremely important that needed to be transported, but top pilots aren't cheap. He's well past his days of taking on every dingy side-job that anybody offered him for a handful of credits.

'For a good cause.' Yeah, there's the spiel. He can't even be mad at her for it, or for the fact that he's not as good as shaking these things off as he probably should be for his own sake. He knew this would happen when he helped them out once, but he still did it anyway, didn't he? ]
