There's a sparkle in Christine's eyes. A certain level of mischief mixed with amusement on what the day is certain to bring. They do this every now and again, especially when she has the day off from her work at the hospital.

When John isn't off doing whatever it is he does with his magic. Honestly, she never expected to have such a thing for it.

It's exciting, though. It's outside of the realm of normal and stepping outside of it all is exactly what she needs.

Their meeting place is unconventional for a couple meeting for the first time; to see each other in that magical moment. The archway is old and gothic, etched with words in Latin mixed with another language that Christine isn't familiar with. The flowers are different this time. The first day, they were a deep purple. Now, they're cheery, yellow daffodils.

That makes it even funnier.

When she sees him, Christine plays her part by tucking hair behind her ear and giving him friendly smile. "It's you." She pauses and leans in. "And you're late."
