One of them was pissing me off. The other, I didn't feel like watching over her at the time.

Directly, indirectly, hardly matters. Both of them are always around to remind me of what I've done.

I doubt you'd want it but it might make people sympathetic. Unless you want to go the victim route instead.

I mean, you obviously don't, and your first impression isn't going to be any different from anyone else's.

And our conversation didn't start off as normal either. Most people don't go around discussing how they killed their siblings to strangers, right?

Perhaps not. But you can bet that anyone willing to give me a scrap of sympathy upon first meeting is going to regret that very quickly once they find out about that little bit of information. Might as well be up front about it, and not waste anyone's time.

People... are weird with their sympathy and forgiveness. You never know. You might be surprised.

Guess we'll be agreeing to disagree on that one. More than they are weird, people are predictable. Even if I wanted sympathy, I'd have serious questions for anyone offering it, anyway.
