1. proposal {
1. park - you've been planning this proposal for awhile and have taken your sweetheart to a nice secluded area in the park. are they going to say yes or leave you in the dust?

2. house - dimmed lights, candles, home made dinner. it's obvious you've fixed yourself up for something tonight. let's see if your lover catches on before the question is popped.

3. public event - perhaps you're one who wants to gain a lot of attention; maybe your significant other doesn't as much. either way, this goes from writing their message in the sky with an airplane to something like a flash mob ensemble with others involved.

4. restaurant - nothing romantic like taking them out somewhere ritzy and hiding the rings in that glass of expensive wine.

5. car - you've driven them somewhere nostalgic or meaningful either to you or each other, or perhaps just a good view overlooking the city cause maybe you had no other idea how to do it or couldn't afford anything else.

2. marriage {
1. traditional - both parties have agreed and said yes, and everything goes well just like in the fairy tales you've always dreamed of.

2. arranged - you had no say so in this but somebody else like your parents did. you've never seen this person before until you walk down the aisle. what are your thoughts? are you nervous? what if you two don't get along? looks like you have to deal with it either way. enjoy?

3. elope - nothing fancy. you know, they do make drive thru chapels or perhaps you're just going to experience the excitement of meeting up at the court. all and all, it doesn't matter, just so you have your sweetheart to yourself.

4. shotgun - congrats, somebody is pregnant. there's only one more thing left to do now..

5. disaster - looks like somebody forgot the rings! never mind the fact the maid of honor is having a wardrobe malfunction or that soon to be father in law is causing a scene of some sort.

3. after marriage {
1. honeymoon night - self explanatory! come on, you know what this means. it just wouldn't be the same without this option.

2. new addition - it could be a pregnancy or bringing home a new child, or something as simple as a new pet goldfish.

3. house purchase - after months of living in a trashy apartment, you're both about to sign the dotted line and move into your new place.

4. argument - deep, relationship sort of arguments or something petty like who drank all the milk; it's up to you!

5. divorce - somebody has had enough of this and is ready to move on. how will it all go down?

He shrugged. "It doesn't matter. Do what you need to do, Dean." He sighed as he finished the eggs as well. He pulled two plates out of a cabinet before getting silverware. "Eat something. Then you can start whatever you need to do."

Dean smiled a little when he saw the food sitting there. "Holy crap man, this looks awesome. I'm used to nothing but fast food tacos and burgers."

"You still eat plenty of that stuff. I'm always trying to get you to eat healthier." He handed one of the plates to Dean, filling his own before grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Yeah you do that, you and your freakin rabbit food and your bottled water. Meet is good for you Sammy," he smirked, sitting down at the table before digging in. "Aww man this is awesome."

"Thats what you always say!" He started to smile before looking down and blushing. "And I do eat meat...I just like knowing I'm not going to have a coronary." He shifted, sitting down and digging in.

Dean just rolled his eyes, shoving half a piece of bacon in his mouth. "If you're not at least at some risk for a coronary then you're not eating the right meat."

"Says you. Jerk." He laughed softly, shaking his head before taking a drink of water. "One of these days I will get you to eat something that doesn't moo."

"I do! There's the things that cluck and oink, also cherry pie has fruit in it!"

"I mean something healthy. Well, chicken can be healthy...you always did like mom's chicken." He smiled, looking across the table and into Dean's eyes.

"Yeah it;s awesome," he responded without thinking, taking another bite of food.

He stared for a moment, looking confused before he turned back to his food. "Mom thinks you and dad are just alike though. She always gets a kick out of how you and dad stay by the barbecue every time we have a cook out."

He laughed again, shaking his head. "We need to have another cook out soon. I owe dad for the last time you drank all his beer."

"Cook outs....wow, that's so.." he shook his head, trying to find the right word, "...normal."

"Well yeah..." He finished off his food, downing another gulp of water before getting up and taking his plate to the sink. He rinsed it off before setting it in the dishwasher.

"When you're done...well you can do whatever. I'm probably gonna take a nap. Last night's party was pretty wild." He kept his eyes down as he cleaned off the counter, rinsing the knife and cutting board and the frying pan. He put them in the dishwasher as well before putting up the other food.

"Yeah, nap sounds....kinda good. I should start doing research, but I might try to catch a nap." He stopped when he realized there was probably only one bed. "I'll....I'll just crash on the couch."

And there was that pain back in his chest. He felt like someone had taken a knife and was twisting it as harshly into him as they could. "Yeah." He frowned before shaking his head. "Do whatever."

He started to tell Dean where the spare blankets and pillows were, but he stopped himself. Instead he just walked down the hallway and into the bedroom, closing the door behind him.

He sat on the bed, staring into nothing before dropping his face into his hands and muffling a sob. He reached out with one hand, slapping a picture of the two of them together down on the nightstand.

"Shit..." he ran after Sam, knocking on the door. "Sammy? Let me in," he shook his head, resting his forehead on the door. "Baby please don't cry," he begged, seemingly unaware about what he'd said.

"Its not locked." He said, barely loud enough to be heard. He was still crying though, sucking in a breath as his body shook.

Dean's words just barely reached him and he lifted his head slightly, tears streaking his face.

Dean opened the door nervously. "Relax, okay? Please stop crying?"

He looked up, watching Dean walk in. "Why? Why should I stop, Dean? The only person in this entire world that I care about would rather sleep on the couch than in the same bed we've shared for four years." He laughed bitterly.

"I don't...I don't want to do this. Just...please just leave me alone." He whispered. "You don't really care."

"Whatever world I'm in Sammy, if you're crying I care. I can't just shut that off." He looked around the room nervously but in the end sat down on the bed next to Sam.

"Its not the same." His voice was just a whisper and he turned away slightly. "You called me baby." He twisted his wedding ring around his finger slowly, brushing his fingers over the designs in the gold.

"When? Before? That's...nice, don't think I ever called anyone but my car baby so other me must really love you."

"No...when you came to the door. You..." He stopped, closing his eyes. "You said Baby please don't cry."

Of course, he figured this Dean would just deny it.

Dean frowned, trying to remember. "No I didn't, why would I say that?"

"Nevermind." He said, shifting away before pulling off his shirt. "I'm gonna take that nap now. You should...probably go lay down." He stood and worked out of his jeans, leaving himself in just boxers before he slipped beneath the thick blankets on the bed. He turned his back to Dean, almost burying himself in all the thick blankets and pillows.
