One, Two, and Three

Date day.

Kind of? Peter isn't quite sure what to call it, but what he does know is that he's excited in a way that he hasn't felt for quite some time just to see Dawn and take her flying.

Thankfully, the day has been pretty quiet, but he still finds himself hoping that the trend continues. Not that they can't write a raincheck if something big happens, but he kind of doesn't want to have to do that. He just wants to enjoy the time they'll have in each other's company.

Peter does wonder, though, if he should've brought flowers or some other gift along even as he waits at the agreed upon spot at the agreed upon time. Ah, well, too late now.

Sort of? She isn't quite sure as things with Peter are still very new and neither of them seems to know where it's going, but that's okay, she's not in a rush and what she does know is that she enjoys his company and that usually when he's around she feels alive and winds up smiling more than she has in months.
Like right now, she's already smiling just from seeing him waiting for her on the edge of the agreed upon rooftop. She closes the rooftop access door quietly behind her and walks over to him, wondering how long it will take him to notice her since he looks so deep in his own thoughts.
