[The wasteland was unforgiving. Raiders, mutants, deathclaws, and even rogue robots roamed around rampantly, indiscriminately killing for little to no reasons. Slavers were once in the area, the scene still littered with the infamous collars, all mixed in with the bodies. Didn't really matter to Homura. Always looked like a craphole, and always would. Besides, the smell sometimes attracted more wasteland creatures, or even raiders to rob and kill.

In fact, there was a fresh kill: a rather large and damn near demonic deathclaw. It's body was carved up, Homura cooking the meat over the fire. She seemed rather well, though there were still patches covering some minor cuts, and blood still soaking her clothes; not hers at least. Most noticeable was the rather dark mark around her neck. Easy to tell who took care of this place with such a memento. She seemed distant, a bit miserable. Hard not to be in this condition.

Though she did turn her head, clearly noticing a certain someone approaching.]

( supernatural (demons and hell-on-earth, anyone?) apocalypse is a first choice, also here for zombie apocalypse or some kind of pandemic. assumed cr or first meets welcome; Ben would be happy to find another person and administer care and survive together. if a supernatural apocalypse, Ben can actually Do Things to keep them safe; otherwise he's more of the brains than he is the brawn. love fire-forged relationships with both character types that he would work well with, or wouldn't necessarily but they end up bonding due to these horrific experiences. love gen (learning to depend on each other up to and including co-dependency, found family, etc) but if looking for ship, m/m and early on is the fave. love bandaging up each other, fearful insomnia and other hurt/comfort situations; dire and perilous action; treading the line of kicking the bucket and all sorts of intense emotions; and open to other ideas! I'm okay with gore/death/intense stuff, just no animal harm/death mentions aside from references to subsistence hunting, please.
