Mostly because I'm surprised we've never had this kind of meme before. We love high school AUs. We love romance. Why not combine those into a glorious mix?

[ Sure, she has a canon high school AU (Sailor Moon, you might have heard of her), but it's more fun to have her as a similar yet slightly different take! Think a touch elegant, still friendly, very poor little rich girl/uptown girl. ]

[Azula fire is top of her class in...most subjects. Class representative, member of the student council, and star of the school's volley ball team. Ambitious and egotistical but for good reason so some might think.

Her father is a well known local politician, and her mother an actress meaning the two are rarely home but expect a lot from her. Meanwhile her older brother has run off to college. Is it any wonder she spends so much time at school?

Or...maybe you caught her at her secret part time job as a waitress at a cafe. Such things are frowned upon by the school but for whatever reason she's decided to ignore school rules in this one case.]

[Awkward, sometimes aggressive but often buried in books about psychology, murderers and metahumans, Harleen Quinzel is a dork with a capital D and has been bullied to the point of of lashing out in "extreme" ways. Her obsessive nature means if she crushes on you don't expect her to be casual or chill about any of it.]

[For someone who is generally good-natured and kind, Asellus spends a lot of time in detention. Of course, that's mostly because she can't stop running her mouth-- her inside thoughts regularly become outside thoughts and it turns out that while high-school teachers appreciate honest students, there is such a thing as too honest.

But when she's not getting in trouble, she's generally socially apt-- not exactly a butterfly but she's got friends in all sorts of places, and usually has the inside scoop on all the cool parties. She's spotted at... most of them. Partially this is because she loves a good party, but mostly it's to keep her away from staying home, where she's constantly under pressure from her family. If she's not there, they can't yell at her about her (honestly respectable but not perfect) grades.]
