Have you ever wanted to travel to another planet? Another REALITY? Even if this is something that has never crossed your mind, It's about to happen. For reals. A giant wormhole has opened up beneath you and dropped you elsewhere. You have no choice in what world you're heading to, or even where you'll be landing. Luckily (or unluckily) you'll be dropped near to a resident of the world who will have no choice but to play your tour guide and help you get to know your new home.
 

How it works

1. Post with your character. In the body include a little bit about where your character is, or what they are currently doing. You can write as little, or as much as you want! Just a simple sentence saying something like [John Doe is sitting in his office at the paper company goofing off and playing call of duty while his boss isn't looking.] is fine, or you could go into more detail and write a paragraph or two describing a key place in your world's canon to really set the scene for incoming tourists. Try not leave your initial comment blank. This meme will probably work best if you set up a scene, no matter how short.

2. Find someone else who's world you are invading and post dropping in on them. Maybe you just opened a door and found yourself there, maybe you fell into a worm hole. Either way you are not where you were a moment ago. optional: The wormhole might have handily provided you with the means to blend in to your new environment. If you find yourself hopping out into a school, you might be wearing an appropriate uniform, if you happen to fall out into a swords and sorcery type world you might find yourself sporting plate armor or wizard robes, and if you find yourself on an alien planet... well you might look just like the aliens who live there.

3. Remember that with this sort of meme it's probably best to tag outside of canonmates. But, either way, have fun and try not to kill the tourists!

[ The world you've become a tourist is decidedly modern, though that might be hard to tell from your current local. You're in a vast wilderness of fields and trees and lakes. Romping about everywhere are strange creatures in all manner of shapes and colors. Some look ferocious, some cute, some could absolutely be described as friend shaped.

It seems you're not the only tourist around here either. There's a young slightly frail looking young man nearby, putting the finishing touches on the tent he's been setting up. He's not a tourist from another world though, simply a visitor from another region. There's also a strange white and green warrior nearby chopping wood with his blade like arms.

When the teen notices the stranger he smiles and gives them a shy wave. ]

Oh! Hello. I didn't notice you. You weren't, um, going to use this camping spot were you? I can move, it's no bother.

This is a world filled with nothingness. The sky is dark and starless, the terrain flat and featureless. The air is still. The silence is overbearing. It feels like a tomb. And in a way it is. There is only one being in this world, she doesn't live here so much as exist here. Her brothers laid her to rest in this bubble beyond reality after her murder. And so in this emptiness she exists alone.

Alone until she is not.

She appears near them, walking slowly from the emptiness. Despite the dark her ancient silver armor almost seems to glow. The first impression one might get of her is a being so large it's hard for the mind to comprehend. Blink and she's still big, the size of a building but not so overwhelming massive.

"It's been a long time since a visitor came here," despite her size her voice is soft, and there's something almost sad about it, "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Cracks into super-dimensional space are nothing unusual to Jason, apart from the fact there was one here at all. This shouldn't be happening anymore at this point, but fortunately, there was an easy way to prepare for whatever might happen.

And that was parking G-SOPHIA right in front of the hole in space and waiting to see what happened. Hopefully it would close on its own and he'd earn some goodwill for doing almost nothing. It was almost never that simple, though.

Oh well. At least whatever arrived would do so staring down the barrel of a disturbingly well-equipped tank.

[ Welcome to the Sol system, though it may not be as familiar as you expect to find it. Mercury is missing, and Mars is recently returned but caught between different points of time. Earth is still there — but most of what remains of humanity lives in the Last City, and the Moon is haunted is overrun with alien creatures.

You may have arrived in the Reef, a massive debris field within the asteroid belt that rings the inner system. If arriving by spaceship, expect to be escorted by an Awoken patrol to the Vestian Outpost. Or perhaps you found yourself at the Outpost to begin with. Either way, your sudden appearance will likely be seen as cause for concern, and you'll be taken to have an audience with the Queen.

If you're unlucky, you may find yourself somewhere in the Ascendant Realm; an infinitely-extending extradimensional plane of existence. Careful not to fall off whatever random floating piece of landscape you've found yourself on, or you'll find out why it's also called the Sea of Screams. But, you must not be entirely unlucky because you're not alone. Although the regal woman you meet with illuminated eyes and pale blue-tinted skin is going to be extremely curious just how you got here and where you came from. ]
