( oxford is a new start for anthony, mostly because he is a man without a father. a man without, with everything: a title, funds, properties. he doesn’t know what to do with these things, other than deflect some of the aspects and to cling to others ( perfection ) so hard that everyone, including him, bleeds. but nobody, including his mother, has ever told him that it’s entirely okay not to be perfection walking, and so anthony continues, taking on course load after course load at all souls until he winds up somehow stumbling into someone as lost in life as he is — a man diametrically opposite from him, a man who despises his head of household, while anthony himself hates being in charge yet loved edmund to his bones, beyond that to his soul.

all the same, the two of them wind up in bed together, limbs and sheets strewn about.

he remembers. of course, he remembers: a woman, not a lady, kissing simon and then him in turn; kissing them both, holding each of their faces in her small hands. his memory is a drawing board of images: her thighs spread, their mouths taking turns upon her ( breasts, between her thighs, her glorious mouth ) and with a semblance of shame, but also delight, simon’s mouth on his. his hand on the back of anthony’s head when she comes apart on his tongue and his lips at simon’s shoulder, his neck, the corner of his mouth as he fucks her into the pillows and mattress.

[It's not uncommon for him to go out at night and grab some alcohol at Bermotti's or even from Shino's bar. Coming back to his office a little tipsy is commonplace. This time he happened to run into Lapis and they had a few more drinks -- well, he didn't want to send her home on a subway like this and taxis weren't able to be found. Probably one of those nights where everyone was partying and therefore the cab services were busy. Not a bad thing.

He told Lapis to come over to his office and he'd drive her home in the morning. It was really as simple as that.

No, really. As soon as they got back to his office, first thing he does is fall face first into the couch and he's immediately out. Shoes aren't even off. Jacket isn't even off. It's almost impressive how he can sleep like this. He seriously had no ulterior motives -- he was honest when he said he wanted to make sure she could get home safely.

There's food in the fridge, snacks int he cupboard, some coffee that can be brewed. Hell there's a whole kitchen. Also a bathroom and shower in the back. Though hope she finds sleeping on the other couch comfy.]
