[Rui's been coming to the Kanames' shop for a few months now; it's hard to find flowers that meet his exacting standards, but once he'd found a supplier that had the skill in raising and arranging, they became his go-to quite readily.

It had started out as a test order; three bouquets to give to his troupe members at the end of a show. Something small enough that he could test them out without losing too much time or getting an imperfect product. Then his orders had become more and more grandiose over time, finally culminating in an order put in for 'enough local wildflowers and foliage to cover a small stage'.

He's here to pick up the last portion of this order and pay in full. It's rare that he comes in to pick things up on his own, usually enlisting his friends' help in carting everything back since it's for their benefit as well, but. Well. Can he be blamed for wanting to be alone sometimes? Especially when the Kanames' daughter is working the register and he finds her so earnest that he'd like the chance to talk to her without the stares of people inclined to lovingly bully him for it?]

[ running a coffee shop was sandalphon's dream, and he found himself wonderfully d content with finally making his dream come true. no need to listen to underqualified management to meet ridiculous quotas, the power to throw out unruly customers at the drop of a hat, and best of all, the wonderous smells of coffee and flora mixing together to provide a shopping experience like no other. sandalphon could ask for no other thing in the world, now that this little shop was made.

what only made it better that he was able to share such a wonderful experience with the man he pined over ever since starting out as a trainee barista at a coffee shop back in his younger years. he started on the brewing process for the first cups of the morning, ones that without it, there was no point waking up in the morning... in sandalphon's opinion. lucifer, he was not completely sure yet.

once the coffee was made, he slides the cup over with a smile-- only an hour before opening. he gives a wry smile as he lifts his own cup to his lips. ]
