[Dinner and planning a night together was all tonight was meant to be. And it had been a great night. One of Steven's best nights in recent memory. Matt put him so at ease over the appetisers that he was babbling on about faith, iconoclasts and heresies in various cultures throughout history before the main course even arrived. (Of course, Steven was careful not to talk about ancient embalming methods and haruspicy while they were eating...)

He doesn't know how the night turned so bad so fast. All he knows is that they got back to Matt's place, and he gawked at the billboard and started describing in as best detail he can what's on the billboard to Matt, and they had a couple of beers, and Steven couldn't help but pass a comment on the sorry state of the contents of Matt's fridge filled only with beers and vowed to rectify that when he comes over to cook, and-- and then they were both in the kitchen, Matt pressed up against his back, bending him over, taking his hand, guiding him over to finger a recipe book in braille. (What? What else do people do pressed up against each other bent over a kitchen counter?)

It was fascinating. And Matt was-- really warm. But then there was some weird... noise? Coming from that roof access door up that staircase?

And then he blacked out.

He can't piece together what happened. Only that it looks like a natural disaster came through Matt's place. The roof door is blown wide open, coffee table's broken, couch flipped over, pieces of a broken mug on the floor. Steven himself is lying face down on the floor, apparently. He pushes himself up onto his hands and knees with a groan, trying to pick himself up in the wreckage left behind. What a mess...?

But where's Matt?]

Mister Murdock...? [Ow. Ow. Steven winces and touches his elbow, padding over towards the bedroom with the broken sliding door, careful not to step on any broken glass. You'd have thought they had a really wild night here together. Steven has no recollection of the heart-stopping breath-taking murderninjas and there's no sign of them in Matt's apartment. There's just-- a kaleidoscope of fluorescent bars of pink and orange and green and yellow rolling down the length of Matt's scarred and bruised-spangled back, a flag of punishment billowing across his exposed skin bathing in soft blue-white moonlight.

Steven squawks and trips over himself falling backwards, landing on his butt and unable to stop himself from whisper-shouting.]

Unlike her partner, the monarch is very mortal and is currently struggling to catch her breath. Her own stamina pales in comparison to Thor’s, but she put up a damn good effort.

Not bothering to cover herself, she rolls onto her side facing him looking nothing short of an olive skinned study of Venus. Margo knows that she’s beautiful and acts accordingly. She casts a seductive smile at Thor as her chest still rises and falls from exertion, her eyelids at half-mast.

“You always such a control freak in bed, marathon man?” She teases, running a finger down his bare chest.
