The Find a Crossover Ship Partner Meme
It's crazy, but sometimes you just really want to ship with a character from another canon, but you don't have a castmate and feel awkward about asking or wanting to do that. Though there's a lot of desire and opportunities for crossover shipping in DWRP, actually finding people to do it with can be a bit overwhelming. So, will you have to do without your Samus Aran/Tony Stark OTP forever?
Not with this meme in hand, you won't! Here, you can find like-minded people who aren't too constrained by canons. You can make connections and decide if you'd like to take an idea and run with it in a meme or a musebox. Dynamics/Character Types You Enjoy: Someone Ted can take care of, but who will also take care of him when he pushes himself too far. Someone with the capacity for being a good person. Someone who isn't used to being loved, and will be baffled by Ted loving them.
Preferences: Any gender. (Open for interspecies too.) No one younger than 25, unless Ted is aged down. Smut and kinks are both good but neither mandatory. Medium slowburn for romance. Technically romance isn't mandatory either, I'm open for other relationship dynamics. I like boomeranging tags. I love angst. I love weird AUs and crossovers, sci-fi and fantasy stuff very welcome. Mostly looking for PSLs, but I can look into games if they're not too huge.

this guy. straight up copy-pasting from his infosheet here, but cheol-gang is a highly corrupt yet superficially normal (if intimidating) major in the north korean secret police and the primary antagonist of his canon. in addition to his work for the state security department, he's spent decades carefully arranging a network for himself by giving bribes to the majority of high command in the DPRK, killing witnesses, trafficking drugs into the country, harboring criminals, and arranging for the theft of artifacts. personality-wise he's very clever, calculating, and ambitious, with no remorse and extremely limited compassion. however, he is shown as capable of a very small number of deep, genuine bonds as indicated by his attachment to two minor castmates (at least, prior to [!SPOILER!] one of them threatening to report him to the authorities, which would get him sent to a camp or killed) - and that sort of 'only a few times in the life of someone like this' bond gradually forming is what i'm looking to play out here.
Dynamics/Character Types You Enjoy:
slowburn! kind of a necessity with him, but also i just enjoy it. enemies > lovers is a fave, as are situations in which attachments are forged by two characters being shoved together by less-than-ideal circumstances. needless to say any relationship with him probably isn't going to be entirely normal or healthy, especially given that he has a lot of issues in connection with growing up orphaned/homeless, but i'm not looking to play out abuse/anything seriously toxic.
as for character types, cheol-gang tends to work well with either men who are very, very accepting/kind/generous of spirit—people who aren't necessarily willing to accept the things he does but are willing to accept and adapt to the fact that he's not typical and never will be—or particularly cunning/similarly power-hungry women.
Preferences:
action brackets and present tense preferred. no characters younger than their late 20s. not really looking to write smut with him outside of a game setting but if it comes up i'm not opposed to it, either!
