Whether it's a temporary parting or your entire relationship has played out through letters and late-night text messages, being separated from your sweetie is never fun. Friends and family might shake their heads and encourage you to look closer to home, but you know this person is worth the wait.

[They both have their own respective duties that keep them both busy - Lena has a squad to overlook and Aure has her people to watch over - and they sometimes work far from each other, but Aure can always be assured that Lena will call at a certain time of night or vice-vesa. There's only been a few exceptions, but sometimes circumstances got in the way.

And it is once again that time of night, Aure back in her room after a long day - mostly just laying on her bed as she tries to remember how to be functional after rushing around. The sound of her phone gets her to snap out of her stupor, and the young empress doesn't hesitate to reach for it; the smile in her voice clear when she answers.]
