It's that damn plurk meme. Sort of.

This is the Sleeping Meme. Plain and simple, your character is sleeping with another one. While sharing a bed and sleeping together with someone is very intimate, smut is not necessary.
 

What do:
1) Post with your character. Name and canon go in the subject line.
2) Include your preferences.
3) Tag around.
4) If you tag, pick a letter from A-H according to the diagram above. Ta-da. That's the position the characters are sleeping in.
5) That's it.

[ um. well.

he's not sure how he got in this position, but there's saga. sort of flopped over, hanging off the side of the bed. though vampires don't necessarily need to sleep, old habits die hard.

maybe subaru won't notice if he just... crawls back into place? despite being a pretty big man... ]

[ not only is he a pretty big man (already a point in his favor, because subaru is nothing if not a creature of habit -) but subaru is also a pretty poor sleeper, a habit grown from the incessant press of dreams and nightmares and all the memories in between. but no, the slow creep back up onto the bed proper isn't much helping matters. subaru at least sleeps somewhat normally and so left room on the side his bedmate is currently... struggling with.

it's dark, but subaru is used to that. a sigh permeates that darkness as he eases up onto his palms, awake. ]

I told you that you didn't have to stray so far to the edge.

[bloodykiss]

[ he clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth; a noise born from slight irritation of being caught in between feigning sleep and not. well, it's not like there's any reason not to just sit on the edge of it and rub the back of his neck, massaging the growing tension knot there. ]

Yeah, yeah. Didn't wanna wake you up.

[ and then he sighs before turning to look at suburu. impossible to hide what he is, especially in the dark of the room. even when he's not angry, those eyes of his glitter a certain way. ]

Sorry. Not really great at that sleeping thing, either.

[ though subaru can't see as well in the dark, his vision halved by blindness, subaru can sense him. that is almost sharper, in a way. but he supposes that's only natural for what he is - the red hue of his eyes like beacons in the dark. luckily, as he's come to learn, he poses no threat to humans and so subaru isn't on edge around him. it seems rather the opposite, in fact... this man is universally adored by humans.

folding bandaged arms in his lap, an unfortunate encounter with the other creatures he hunts through harajuku in the dead of night leaving him tired enough to actually rest, subaru glances aside. ]

Why stay? I don't need you to look after me.

[bloodykiss]

Tch.

[ saga folds his arms across his chest, pulling his legs back onto the bed so that he could get more comfortable while looking at subaru. those arms... he got himself into some kind of trouble, right? you don't just wear bandages like that out in the open. doesn't matter how powerful you are. ]

Around here, no one's going to think about breaking into a room that I booked.

[ and anyone who does happen upon them both is doing it knowing there are risks. his appearance may deceive some--- those who know him well--- but others? he's still a ferocious looking bastard with a mean streak. ]

You deserve the rest.

[ he holds a steady gaze for only having one good eye, the somber green no where near as intimidating as the incandescent red, but it's shortlived. it's not an argument he's out to win despite how many times he's heard it - it's advantageous that he knows the arts as a human, but he is still only human. and reckless with it too, but humanity isn't often known for its rationale.

shifting, subaru lowers himself back down despite being wide awake, meeting saga's concern halfway. ]

Those of you who hunt your own kind are formidable.

[bloodykiss]

Yeah. They are.

[ vampires that hunt down other vampires are despicable creatures indeed. though saga doesn't normally go out of his way to defend others on a whim, it's when they tread closer to his home that he becomes furious. the mere idea of jack or mist being in danger of getting killed by some craven bastard makes his blood boil.

beth, however, is incredibly capable. when he gets upset? that's a whole another level that some unfortunate hunter would have to deal with. ]

Pays to be strong.

[ he eyes those bandages again. he snorts, nostrils flaring. ]

You need me to replace them?

[ for his part, it's simply his business to know when there are creatures who relish in the blood of others prowling the wards of tokyo. he has seen all manner of teeth and claw, all manner of devourer and devoured. some are more beholden to law than others. that his kind are to sustain themselves on their own is - well, it's not the worst that he's seen, but it is unfortunate for those who have to bear the brunt of self-made violence.

it's a concept subaru is also familiar with. ]

I don't disagree with that.

[ still, his fingers twitch at the mention of his dressings. for having done it himself, they're fair, but not exactly foolproof. ]

They could use a better hold.
