There's no telling for sure. But someone very dear to me might still be alive.

We may be similar. I let my sister go and I shouldn't have.

It wasn't a matter of letting go. I was blind to the truth and only found out later.

It's a risk of my family's bloodline, but his was...helped along by someone I thought was trustworthy.

People can't live without affection, but it blinds us to what stands the nearest too.

I'm aware of the nature of blindness to the faults of others.

But it's not the only thing that blinds people to what's around them.

Not the only thing, no. Just one of the most ruinous.

It can be, yes.

Although that may depend more on the people involved. Sometimes it can become motivation to make things right, no matter the cost.
