SLAVES

1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.

2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.

3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.

4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.

5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.

6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.

7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.

MASTERS

1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.

2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.

3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.

4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.

5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?

6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.

7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.

3. Pet - In his realm, he had a reputation as a lover. Whether that's known here or not, he's very pretty but be careful, he bites. Use wards or make sure he likes you.
5. Escape artist - Last time wasn't his first escape, and probably won't be the last. On the bright side, it means there's a discount! On the flip, make sure you keep an eye on him.
7. Specialist - For skills he was a thief for centuries and more, and his powers give him the ability to control the plant life around him. Including some particularly nasty ones.
Bonus Ideas:
Long Con - He let himself be taken to the market in order to get someone else out. Maybe his buyer gets taken along for the ride, or maybe he decides he's into it.

2. Gift - So some of his older friends have horrible senses of humor. At least he's not the human-eating sort of demon?
5. Rebel - Demon or not, he's got a heart. And he knows humans don't fare well in Makai slave markets.
6. Companion - Just wanted some company, and maybe someone to help with the weeding.
7. Undercover - Rescue mission time! But you might have to act out some things.

Therefore, when an old friend calls in a favor and asks Aki to help rescue so-and-so captured and enslaved swordsman, Aki doesn't ask for the details.

It's all very exciting, and she's so swept up in the entire experience of purchasing another human being in a black market that she perhaps 'forgets' to mention to said swordsman what the plan is.

"Oh, don't look so glum," she chastises, her tone teasing, as she throws open the doors of their accommodations. It's meant to be a safehouse, but unfortunately Aki doesn't fear anything or anyone, so in actuality it's a rather luxe manor. The kind of place that you rent with all the brocade-encased furniture included.

Twitching his itchy nose into the rough burlap sack over-head and gnawing irritably at the bit rammed between his teeth following several choice retorts. Goddamn, he has to piss. The spirit detective rattles the chains when he shimmies back against the wall for leverage to tuck his knees and painfully ( --_rrggh ) work his arms down-and-under, around his legs. Arms cuffed in front now, he freeze when a sniveling voice cries out to the guards ( ESCAPE THIS-ESCAPETHAT, RUNAWAY, GUARDS ) and sputters as he's yanked to his feet by his chained.

"M'ya f-Sto'hmm Mh'eady?? --Ch'ife'!" The snap loses its venom ( -if it ever held any, smothered by the metal bar- ) when he trips over something, only to be caught by beefy arms and thrown forth. The guards are dicks, but he'd personally love a moment alone with the snitch first. Light filters through the bag slowly, and it's obvious he's standing before a well of pathetic, one-punch energies, so he skids to a comically shaky stop and sneers. "Mnow wha-?"

Drowned out by jeers, he takes the opportunity to jerk the chain when he's yanked again, because it ain't like he's over here pulling a full Mustang. Asshole's bout to rip his arms out. Grinding his teeth when the laughter grows louder, crass commentary about Spirit World's quality hiring practices --oh, he'll show them his practice of shoving fists down mouthy throats.

The sigil etched into the metal band suckles away trickles of energy that accidentally leak, so he huffs out and forcefully settles down. Stupid. This is stupid.

~Follow the plan, Yusuke.~ --Yeah, right. Lookin' like a dummy stupid plan! When a winner is announced, he rolls his eyes to fight off a mounting shudder. Why's this make him feel dirty? Sickos. Grumbling something when he's sweetly pat on the head to move along; somehow he prefers the rough treatment, but it does get him to trot off like the fuckin' show pony he is. Two hours before he's directed from the containment cell again and his jaw is throbbing.

Jayce was abducted by a certain council woman's mother's jealous lover to the land of Noxus. There he is put in a common auction block where no one recognizes him. Unbeknownst to the Noxians in attendance, a Vestani from Ionia (who they're frequently at war with) has slipped into the crowd to secure Jayce's freedom... for a price. She has to bid on Jayce after all, and what she wants in return is not gold, but access to Piltover to search for something, and perhaps a one night stand with Piltover's most eligible bachelor.
