The Walk Into A Bar Meme!

The bar's a comfortable place, where everyone knows you just have to walk up, give the bartender a smile, and order up a drink. Everyone goes to a bar sometime, whether to pick up a companion for the night, to pick up a friend, or pick up a drink. You never know the story behind the guy sitting next to you, or the bartender. But that's what bars are for, aren't they? To learn about the guy on the stool next to you, drinking his gin and tonic.

So what do you do in a Walk Into A Bar meme?

1. Comment here with your character and their canon in the subject line.
2. Hit RNG for a number between 1-15.
3. Tag someone else using that number as your character's reason for coming to the bar.

1. Sex on the Beach - You're here at the bar for one reason and one reason only, to find some company for the night. It might help, to buy them a drink first. But then they might throw that back in your face...

2. Tonic and Gin - Life's been one disaster after another lately, and the only thing that makes it easier is the sweet numbing taste of alcohol...

3. Midori Sour - Your friends dragged you out here and they've suddenly abandoned you for some rock star in the VIP lounge. Are you bitter? Maybe. Or maybe you'll just use the opportunity to flirt with the cute bartender...

4. Shirley Temple - You got a call five minutes ago asking you to come to the bar to pick up your too-intoxicated friend/brother/sister. But now that you're here, they don't seem to be anywhere to be found...

"Shut up, you wretch," Eames laughed, pulling his hand away and leaning back in his seat.

Arthur laughed more, ducking his head and glancing up at Eames. "Well, your mouth is fuller now than most female forges I've seen."

"Admitting you look at my mouth and the mouths of my female sides?" Eames asks with a dangerous look in his eyes, curling those full lips up.

"I do have to confirm that the forges are accurate," he said with a wicked smile as if trying to hide the truth which he knew was obvious.

"Of course you do," Eames says almost patronizingly, raising a hand to rub a finger over his mouth. "Sorry, had something on it."

Arthur rolled his eyes, sitting back once more. "Let me guess, your next line if I asked what would be my gaze?"

"I would hardly go for something so trite," Eames said with a flutter of his eyes, still smirking.

"Mmmhmm, not buying it," he said, looking amused if nothing else. "Believe what you want. I'll just be here being right."

"You wish," Eames replied, laughing and then standing. "Take your drink for you?"

"I needn't wish. Prove I'm not right." He glanced up at Eames. "Saying it's time to head back? You?"

"Just taking your drink," Eames posits with the most innocent look he can muster.

Arthur raised a brow and then lifted the glass to Eames. "And are you going to bring me another while you're at it?"

"Do you want another?" Eames asked with a little smirk.

"Why do I feel there is so much more to that than a drink." He considered it, watching Eames closely.

"Arthur, everything I do isn't laden in double meaning," Eames says lightly, tilting the scotch glass at him. "Another or not?"

He didn't say it but to Arthur, most things were. A lot of things had so many meanings it wasn't even funny.

"I would, yes," he said, realizing he was tensing up with concerns.

Eames looks at Arthur and then smiles.

"Relax for a bit, darling." He tuts, turning to get Arthur another scotch and himself another whiskey.

Arthur tried to do just that, sitting back and watching the crowd. Of course his gaze went to where Eames was, watching him more than the dancers.

Eames went to the bar, leaning against it with a charming smile to get both their drinks refilled. He waited, and once they'd been filled he smiled again and made his way around the dancing crowd, handing the drink to Arthur as he sat down.

"There, see? Just a drink, pet."

Arthur watched him, considering what he had just gotten himself into. It was deep and he would have to deal with the consequences. Taking a deep breath, he accepted the drink and nodded. "Thank you," he said with a nod. "Paranoia isn't a bad thing."

It was deep. Promising to take Eames to his hometown? That was something different, especially when Eames had given up little in return to get the promise.

But he didn't seem interested in lording it over Arthur, just taking a sip of his whiskey.

"Oh no, not at all. But it's a terrible way to live life."

Arthur toyed with the glass, thinking about Tony and the family and the shit this could bring. Though the shit Eames could cause them was pretty interesting.

"I lead a terrible life," he noted, lifting his glass. "Cheers."

"As do I," Eames informed him with a wicked grin, raising his glass and nodding. "Cheers, Arthur."

He took a drink, a bit more than he should have, settling into the curved arm of the couch. "So... If I called tit for tat, which I won't because I already agreed, would you take me home," he asked, smirking at the way it sounded.

"Hmm," Eames said, swishing his whiskey back and forth in his glass after having taken a sip. "Specificity, darling. My hotel, my more permanent place of residence, or the home I grew up in?"
