Whether it's because you don't want to admit anything to yourself, can't handle rejection, don't think you're good enough, or have no real experience with this kind of thing, your lips are sealed...for now. And maybe forever, if you're contented to love them from afar.

That is, if the object of your affection doesn't figure you out first.

1. Meeting: How do you meet? Is it love at first sight?
2. Falling: You learn to love them, even if you never have before.
3. From Afar: You're not too close to them - they may not know you at all - but you still admire them. Whether "afar" means something like a different school, a different team, or a different world or walk of life is up to you.

[Okay, so... he's cute. Really cute. Probably the most attractive guy she's seen before. And there's something about him that seems familiar, which is dumb as hell. He's a little odd, though, and the way he looks at her is a little disarming. Like he's looking right into her soul or something. Nearly every time he comes in and Ned is there, Ned teases her, telling her that the mysterious Peter Parker has a crush on her and it's super obvious. MJ is just glad Ned has never seen what she does sometimes when the cute, awkward little dork comes in, or he'd probably saying the same of her.

It's just little things. Glances, brief little touches. Free coffees or donuts when her boss isn't there, breathing down her neck. She could get in so much trouble if Frank knew just how many times she's given her secret favorite customer something on the house. The only thing she's never given Peter Parker is her number, and that's more because she's never worked up the nerve.

He comes in on a chilly Monday afternoon, and she's sneaking him another coffee and donut. Ned isn't there to tease her thankfully, and Frank is gone for the day. Peter tries to pay her, and she gives him a shy little smile, pushing the cup and donut toward him.]

Don't worry about it. You're good.
