The Dating Sim/Ero Game Meme!

Ah, dating sims. We know them. We love them. The joy of seeing a few options there and having to guess which one will turn out the right way to get us a few more heart points... It truly can't be beaten!

So, line up, protagonists, and see if you can woo the object of your affections! But beware... The outcome might be different than you imagined!

How to play:

ღ Post your character as a toplevel. Note if you want them to take the role Protag or Love Interest.

ღ Love Interests will respond to Protags with choices for them to make. For example:

[The Grinch wanders up to Poison Ivy. He sneers.]

Well, well, well, don't you look festive? What's with the red and green? You excited for Christmas?

[What do you do?
--> Tell him to fuck off.
--> Flirt with him.
--> Immediately demolish him with an MK11.]

In this example, The Grinch is the Love Interest and Poison Ivy is the Protag.

ღ From there, the Protag will respond with one of the options, like so:

[--> Flirt with him.

Ivy saunters forward, her green hips swaying like mistletoe in the breeze. She lets her fingers skim just under the Grinch's pine-colored beard.]

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch... But I think I'm a little bit meaner.

ღ If you'd like, both of you can be Love Interests, so both of you can give options at the end of your tags! Just make sure to specify who you'd like to be when you're getting ready to tag.

ღ Don't be afraid to give things a twist. If your only options presented are ones you don't think your character would do, take it and make it your own! For example, you could take an option that says "Take him out" to mean on a date or in an assassin way. Have fun with it!

ღ Be kind, be courteous, be on your best behavior, and enjoy!

[ Dana is a top-tier movie star and a philanthropist. He's confident, cheeky and bi as fuck. He has a special place in his heart for the innocent, sweet types that he can just be generous and overwhelm them with his love and material things.

He can be the Protag that's looking for somebody to spoil, or be that li that wants to spoil your character. ]

((either role! as a protagonist that's probably pretty close to canon already, but as a love interest he can easily fill that boy next door trope))

[Is this a better or worse love interest than Komaeda? Regardless of the answer to that question, there's suddenly a gremlin latched onto your waist, nearly toppling you over with the force of the tackle.]

Quick, hide me!

[He sounds pretty cheer for someone pleading for help. What do you do?

--> Hide him!
--> Panic and look around for threats.
--> Sigh heavily.]

Gah-!

[Hinata nearly overbalances from the sudden weight at his side, caught completely unaware. Something about all of this seems a little suspicious, so should he really just go along with it...?

However.

If the other boy needs help, then...

--> Hide him!]

Alright, come on. [His face shifts into a determined expression.] Let's get around this corner first and then we can try to find a better spot.

[Unquestioningly, Hinata grabs onto Ouma's hand and tugs him along.]

[Ooh, how decisive. Ouma snickers as he's dragged along but lets the other boy lead the way. His hand is pretty small and thin – surely such a scrawny kid is innocent of all wrongdoing, right?

As they turn the corner, that other small hand presses up against Hinata's back insistently.]

Better hurry! They're armed, y'know!

[Well, shit. What now?
--> A-armed?!
--> This sounds serious. We should run!
--> Okay, this is bullshit.]

What?!

[Hinata's head whirls around, disbelief plain across his face. He'd suspected that maybe somebody was after the other boy trying to rob him or beat him up for something, but this is... way beyond what Hinata was expecting.

It's way more than he's really equipped to deal with, but...

--> A-armed?!

He falls somewhere in between taking Ouma at face value and calling out how outlandish all of this sounds.]

What the hell is going on here? Who did you piss off badly enough to get armed people chasing after you...?!

[He secures his grip on Ouma, but Hinata isn't running any faster even with the hand on his back. Not without some answers.]

[Look at these big teary eyes, that nervous expression. Isn't he just the picture of innocence?]

I don't know! I was just messing around with some shrimp and then next thing I know, these guys are all mad...

[Okay, there's maybe a touch more amusement in his voice than there should be given the apparent situation. But still! Such innocence! He's just a lil guy!

Just around the corner, there's the sound of a door opening, and he pulls the older boy against the wall with a shushing motion.]

Ahh, shhh! Careful!

[Oh shit.
--> Let's just take a peek...
--> Quick, act casual!
--> This is too dangerous, let's just call the police.]

[Hinata's eyebrows are furrowing at Ouma's tone, because. Something absolutely feels off here, and he's opening his mouth to say as much-

But the sound of the door makes the thoughts fly out of his head, because... Even if he isn't getting the whole picture, what if enough of it is right...?

His mind is racing, heart beating too fast. He has to think quickly, there's no time. Hinata decides to...

--> Quick, act casual!]

...Okay.

[A breath out, reluctant. He's still nervous as all get out, but he draws himself up to his full height, moving himself so he should block the sight of Ouma for anyone just peering around the corner.]

We should... try to get away from here in a minute, but if we act natural for a bit until they're a little farther away, maybe it'll be enough to throw them off if we aren't running.

((protag is probably possible, but I think love interest would probably be more interesting here! difficult to get to know beyond his cheery outer mask, but there might be a thing or two he's hiding underneath it))

((leaning towards protag for this one, but I wouldn't mind playing love interest as well! for the latter it can be a difficult route at first because she's extremely focused on her brother, but she can be won over with time and the right words))
