It, honestly, feels like forever since they've seen each other and maybe it has been. Lan Wangji's duties always get in the way and so does his own wanderlust. He'll just stay back by the door and watch, for the moment. Watch and try not to interfere. Even more so when there are those that were upsetting Lan Zhan. Which was stupid when it came to negotiations. They couldn't read the other like he could, though.

Even he, himself, has had enough and he gives a low whistle. Nothing that would do anything, just something to startle. Possibly even alert a certain Lan to his presence too. So he wasn't that patient, it was bound to happen.
