TYPES OF SCENES
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.

④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?

⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.

[Him gripping the cane drew her attention to it, and she glanced back up at the red-tinted glasses he wore. The two things together, along with the fact he wasn't looking at her direction, put things together in her head. And she laughed.]

Wait, wait. Are you blind? There's a blind vampire running around here? A blind vampire lawyer? Jesus fucking christ. I'd think this was a joke if I thought any of you were capable of a sense of humor.

[This was her life now. Blind vampires, a sister that wanted to turn her and was using weird methods to get it, and a world that was draining life away, one cup of blood coffee at a time.]

No human is stupid enough to set up a cell in a vampire city.

[It takes Matt a second to realize why she is laughing like that. Right, that might've seemed ridiculous - maybe a blind person would've been perfect prey instead of perfect future-vampire back in the early days of the pandemic.

He doesn't bother to correct her; instead his polite expression turns toward the frosty side, a frigidly polite smile instead of a grimace.]

I doubt you can speak for all humans and what they're willing to risk, Ms. Jones.

[She isn't the only one with a loved one in the city, for starters. If she risked it here, then others may have done the same for their lovers, their family, their old friends. ]

If people are dumb enough to set up camp in the middle of a pack of things that want to eat them, then maybe there's a reason they need to be taken out of the gene pool.

[She didn't have that heartwarming love for all humans or some kind of death wish to protect her species. Stupid couldn't be helped. She fit in that camp herself sometimes. Here she was on a rooftop with a blind vampire lawyer sent by her vampire sister in a city full of vampires that would very much like to drain her dry.

She looked out over the horizon, wondering if she could see the sky starting to lighten or if it was just wishful thinking.]

Where's this safe house?

[Her attitude toward her fellow humans is...surprising, to put it delicately, and it shows with the look on Matt's face as he pauses yet again and decides his approach.

Preferably more diplomatically than Ms. Jones'.

He focuses on the topic of the safe house, latching onto that as he regains his composure]

The address is here, Ms. Jones. [Matt fishes into his pocket and pulls out a cheap burner phone with the address already displayed.] Ms. Walker requested that I personally make sure you are comfortable and arrive in a reasonable amount of time.

She did, did she...

[She had to wonder at Trish's choice. Either because of him being a lawyer, seemingly being 'harmless', or possibly because he wasn't exactly hard on the eyes. Trish had dangled men in front of her before to try to lure her to the dark side. Their tastes were very different. But Trish knew that Jess had an annoying soft side for lost causes, even if she claimed otherwise.]

Define comfortable.

[She didn't think this lawyer was the type to be impressed with having a client think of them as a potential gigolo.]

It's...flexible.

[He has a vague idea of what she might be thinking but then again, what does he actually know of how the human mind works these days when he's been a vampire for so long? Matt's lips press together into a line as he appears to look away, his ear angling so that she's centered - not that he needs to do that to pinpoint her with hishearing, but it's an old habit he never quite got rid of.]

Obviously I can't make you comfortable by stepping into the sunlight to give you peace of mind. And I can tell you if I won't agree to something once it crops up.

[The absurdity of the whole situation had a soft laugh building up. She was half drunk on the roof of a building in the middle of a city full of vampires, talking to a blind vampire lawyer who had been hired by her sister to try to make her comfortable in a safe house with obvious undertones to try to convince her to turn and he was making sunlight jokes. Her head fell back and she laughed up into the sky.]

Jesus. How is this my fucking life?

[She tipped her head forward, looking down at the jacket she held, the paper stuffed into her back pocket to be read over later.]

I'm not looking to get in a fight at the moment or to wind up as dinner. Where's this house?

[He assumes that the negotiations with this human are going surprisingly well, given that he hasn't negotiated with someone like Ms. Jones in years. Decades? Time moves differently to a vampire and he's suddenly astonished to realize he doesn't know how long it's been since he was just like Jessica here: breathing, red-blooded, vulnerable.]

This location. Your frien - my client has already prepared a UV-protected car to drive us there.

[Obviously Matt can't drive despite with his other senses.

The car, in theory, is fool-proofed to protect a vampire but he'll be honest; he's never ridden inside one during daylight hours and it might show in the way Matt's pale jaw tightens, fangs peeking out in a nervous grimace. The auto-pilot should handle it but for some reason - why? - engineers have still equipped the car with a steering wheel for "emergencies".

There's nothing stopping Jessica from carjacking it, aside from banking how long it would take for the army to find track her vogue car down.]

[She takes a moment to look him over again. Suit. Glasses. Cane. Jesus. A blind goddamn vampire lawyer and she was going to have to drive them to wherever this house was.]

So, what, I'm supposed to drive us to this presumably safe place and hope you don't eat me on the way? Are you also going to provide entertainment when we get there, or are you just paid to babysit me?

[She didn't know why she said it. It wasn't his fault that Trish was trying to lure her over to join her. But he was on the opposite side of a line she'd drawn, and she didn't know him well enough to trust his intentions. If it wasn't for her feelings for Trish, she wouldn't be able to look at any of them as anything other than rabid monsters. But she knew her sister. Knew when she was genuinely upset or happy and if she could feel all those things and still be what she was, maybe they weren't entirely ripped away from humanity.]

That's the gist of it, yeah.

[It sounded ridiculous. It still sounds ridiculous.

But he knows how Ms. Walker felt, how she couldn't have been faking it, and she knew this was a case he would accept. The money would be enough to set up Foggy for un-life, to secure his future so that he isn't turning into one of those blood-starved creatures rumored to be hissing and clawing around in the sewers, the abandoned subway tunnels. This buys Foggy time he doesn't know he needs, and for that...Matt finds that he's pretty flexible in what he needs to do for this client's case.]

Like I told you, there're certain limits to what I'm willing to do, so nothing jeopardizing my own well-being. Nothing UV or sun-light related, and you can't stop me for drinking blood from the stores that Ms. Walker prepared.

[He seriously doubts that Ms. Jones would allow him to touch his fangs against her fragile, priceless skin, much less drink from those pulsing arteries that are thrumming distractedly even from here. That said, starving Matt out by stopping him from feeding from the blood bags/anything non-Jessica Jones would nullify this whole "thing", whatever it can be called.]

[She thought about the fact that Trish had set up a cozy little place for her to shack up with a vampire while she contemplated that offer. Not that she would, but she also knew that Trish had a lot of hope for her. For them, as a family. That hope was what kept her still coming to visit, even though she didn't think she'd ever take that step to crossing over to join her. She already had a vice, and it was liquid.

Tipping her head at the blind lawyer, she snorted something almost like a laugh.]

As long as you don't give me any bullshit judgement over drinking what she left for me.

[Because knowing Trish, there'd be a copious amount of alcohol there for Jessica to drown her sorrows in. It was part of the lure, after all. Booze, a solitary 'helpless' vampire that looked how Matt looked, all alone together and bunking down until it was safe. Yeah, she knew where Trish hoped it landed. Jess planned on disappointing her.

She looked at her watch; set to let her know when the sun rose. It was a warning for his kind and hope for hers.]

We got just over an hour to get to wherever it is. Might want to start leaving.

If it gets too much, I'll open a window to reduce the sting.

[He's had a few hints that Ms. Jones is a hard-drinker, but it hadn't really sank in until he met the woman in person: he can sense the stench of whiskey, vodka, and brandy (really, anything with a high enough alcoholic content that suits her sensibilities) from here. It undeniably stings, his eyes watering a little behind his glasses. Maybe it's a good thing he can't see conventionally, because the tears would've blurred his vision to the point where he'd need to wipe them away with he back of his hand and show weakness to this human]

But you're right. Let's go: I'll lead.

[Mostly because he knows exactly where the car is parked and also because he assumes Ms. Jones would rather he be in the front than behind, in case he did anything devilishly vampiric.

The car is just around the block, Matt leading the way with the rhythmic tap-tap-tap of his cane as if he's worried about trip hazards instead of the coming sun. He has to grope around for the passenger's side, not using to riding in a car, and that part he isn't faking like with the cane, because it's been years since he's been in a car.

Apparently the handles have changed, become recessed, and it takes him a few seconds to realize you have to push at it instead of pull. After a few annoyed seconds, he manages to get it open so that he can slide into the passenger seat, clutching the cane in one hand as he fumbles around for the seat belt. They still make those, right?]

Whatever you're going to say, Ms. Jones, just don't.

[She narrowed her eyes at that blatant rudeness, but then he cut that short and turned to go and she debated on the wisdom of following him. She could leave, jump off the building, scurry away- but Trish had set this up, the jacket she swung around her shoulders and pulled on proof of that. And if the lawyer was being honest (which sounded like an oxymoron), there was more of a likelihood of her running into trouble on her own than not.

Sighing, she fell in step behind him, listening to the tap-tap of his cane and shaking her head again at the fact that he was a blind vampire. She was going to comment on it, but then he fumbled at the door and she just stood and watched it for a moment. It seemed so out of character with everything she'd had to deal with in regards to vampires and their 'enhanced everything'. It was almost comical.

She slid into the driver's seat, looking over at him as he bit out that little warning. It just made her snort something that could be a laugh.]

Just wondering how you plan on giving me directions. You going to tape that cane to the front of the car so we can tap-tap our way there?

[Dryly.

Matt's "facing" forward and there's a glimpse of his vampire's golden eyes glinting in the dark of the car's cabin. A corner of his lip twitches, as if he isn't used to someone ragging on his blindness. That's one of the things that hasn't changed with New York turning into a nest of vampires: human or vampire, they still treat him like he's made of china, that they have to tip-toe around his blindness.

Jessica's the first person who's taking the...alternative approach]

Ms. Walker drove me here and back. I'm good with directions, I'll tell you when to turn.

I might be. Not like you could tell.

[She shot him a grin she figured was wasted on him, then turned the car on and looked over again. There was that eerie glow around the edge of his glasses. She was never going to get used to that.

As for her amazing bedside manner, well... she didn't really pull punches with people when it came to differences. She was already different herself, so being different around a bunch of monsters just meant she opted not to feel bad if she called out their bullshit. Still... a blind vampire. There was a joke there.]

How the hell are you supposed to tell me when to turn? Don't tell me you've got some kind of vampire bat hearing to make up for being blind.

[He suspects that Ms. Jones is attractive. Foggy called it his sixth sense and Matt has just rolled with it because that seemed to sum it up.]

Something like that. I've got an excellent memory for directions and how the road feels, and no, I'm not a bat.

[He isn't like those starving things he heard about scavenging in the sewers and abandoned subway tracks: vampires who couldn't feed, who began to develop the vestiges of wings and longer fangs, and supposedly they have those elongated bat ears. He's sure one of those wouldn't be having a conversation with Ms. Jones.]

[Even the humans knew about those misshapen things down in the depths of darkness that were starting to get larger in number and were infinitely more dangerous than the ones that wore suits and pretended like they were civilized. No, she doubted she'd be able to talk her way out of anything with them. The pros of that were the lack of remorse she'd feel if she killed one. It was harder to wash away the justification of hurting a monster when it cried and pleaded for its life. Unlife. Whatever.

She checked the mirrors, then started to pull away from where they were parked, opting to trust this lawyer- for now. Until he gave her a reason not to. Trish might not trust him implicitly, but she had a reason for using him as an intermediary for her. Jess found herself curious about the reasons.]

Good. Not sure which would be worse from a bite; vampirism or rabies. If we wind up in the ocean, I'm blaming you.

[The vampire sits prim and obedient in the passenger's seat - no turning and lunging at Jessica with his fangs bared in a snarl - and if he feels uncomfortable being in a car, he doesn't show it.]

Understood. Although I do wonder if the odds of rabies are lower in the area because -

Turn left here, Ms. Jones. And mind the pothole.

[If he did, he'd find himself punched harder by her than it looked like she could punch. Her little freakishness was one of the reasons why she kept coming back to see Trish. A part of her felt she could handle most of what was thrown at her, but she also never had fit in with the clusters of humans hiding still.

And she definitely wasn't above punching a blind man. Or vampire. Still, she noted that he behaved himself, until he spoke. Then she wrinkled her nose at him, avoiding the pothole and scowling at him as she continued on.]

Really. You remember a pothole? Are you actually blind or is this just an act to get laid?

[The question seems to legit catch the vampire by surprise.

He'd been sitting there in shotgun, feeling rigid like a corpse in his anticipation of going into a safe house where he isn't 100% sure he'll come back out. Feeling the prick of his fangs reminding him of this perfectly good meal within arms reach. The question deflates the tension and to his surprise, Matt actually laughs. It's raw, almost human in how unguarded it is.]

Yeah, I'm actually blind. Have been since I was a kid.

[Matt actually sounds amused for once and for a second he can forget there's a human in the car instead of another vampire ribbing him.]

I don't even know if vampires have sex anymore or what that's like. For all I know, you just sit in dark rooms and sip your blood coffee and talk about the weather.

[She followed the line of the road, watching where they went in the city to remember how to get out if she needed to. The laugh was a surprise, though. This lawyer guy seemed a bit pent up and serious; a little too much like someone had a rod up their ass. Knowing he could laugh humanized him a bit and she'd been trying to avoid that.

Still, she glanced over at him, gave him an up and down look, then shrugged.]

You're fuckable. In the looks department, that is. No idea if you'd be worth the effort. Not sure if blind guys know what they're doing.

Well, we do that too, but you can't spend all of your time like that.

[Matt's tension has melted away a bit, although he's still on his guard, but there's a half-smile tugging at the corner of his mouth even so. He listens are her appraisal and then the smile actually grows a little, twitching as if he's trying to force it back down and failing.]

I'm sure we've figured it out, Ms. Jones. But thank you for the compliment...I think.

[Yep, she'd gone there. Matt either had lousy lays or was one himself. She could hear the laugh, glancing over to see it and then looking back at the road.]

[She shot him a grin she didn't think he'd see.]

From what I saw, you've got a nice ass. I guess being undead or blood sucking doesn't take that away.

[Matt can tell she's glancing his way from the rustle of clothes, the whisper of her hair as her head turns and her breathing direction changes. Luckily he doesn't have to tell her to focus on the road...and suddenly he catches himself wondering for once how long it's been since the vampire plague hit, how long it's been since humans like Ms. Jones might've driven regularly.

How many years as it even been?]

[Matt has that slightly strangled sound to his voice as if he's fighting off the urge to laugh.]

But I'd say you weren't too far off with the touching part. To be honest, I'm going off your voice and Ms. Walker's glowing description of you, which, by the way, I'm starting to suspect didn't do your, uh, colorful presence justice.

[She, of course, don't know him well enough to know his vocal tells. She's more used to the people that have to deal with her or be around her being put out at everything she says, barring Trish. No one else got her sense of humor. She didn't suspect that he did.]

Glowing, huh? Did she say I had moonlit skin and raven hair? One of her groupies described me like that once to try to get an in with her through me. He didn't like my ball-breaking foot.

[She knew she wasn't fugly, but she wasn't poshly hot. No class to her attractiveness. She had a great ass, and apparently staying alive and not being lunch kept her in shape. Go figure.]
