[He had waited patiently, bidding his time and finding excuses to stay behind until the students had left the class room and only he and Yuui remained. He had tried, desperately, to deny what he felt, what he had been feeling since the moment he had first met the teacher. He had tried to write it off as nothing more than an innocent crush, but he couldn't deny that it was something much deeper. He had tried to ignore, had tried to hide it, until finally, he couldn't anymore, eve to himself.

It was time to do something about it. He could only hope it wouldn't the friendship he had formed with the teacher.]

[ Yuui leaned against his desk, his eyes resting on his one remaining student. He had noticed that the boy had seemed troubled lately but he hadn't sure if it was something he would want a teacher to get involved in. Even if they probably spent more time together than the ordinary teacher and student. Besides, considering his age it probably had something to do with girls and Yuui didn't exactly feel comfortable with giving advice in that area. ]

Syaoron-kun? Is everything alright?

[The other's voice was startling, breaking him from his thoughts and demanding his attention. Brown eyes instantly focused in on his teacher, on the way he was leaning casually back against his desk, completely unaware of his student's internal struggle.]

I'm very sorry, Yuui-sama, I didn't mean to worry you. I'm alright. I was just thinking about something that's been troubling me lately.

[ Yuui's face softens even though the tacked on -sama always makes him feel a little bit uncomfortable. A gentle reminder of something he'd rather not think about. ]

It's alright. I don't mind.

[ He hesitates for a moment, but the admittance that there's something troubling him is still too much to ignore. ]

If you want to talk about it, this was my last class for the day and... even if I can't do anything to help, I can at least listen.

Whether you mind or not, I still don't want to make you worry. So please, Yuui-sama, I'll be alright.

[Even if the knowledge that the other career enough to worry about him did cause his heart to flutter in his chest. He tried to tell himself it was nothing more than a teacher's worry for their student. And yet, he couldn't deny that it felt different somehow.]

But not knowing what's wrong will only make me worry more. [ He looks away. That had maybe been a bit too straight forward, not to mention far too close to the truth, for comfort. ]

It's not that I doubt your ability to deal with your problems on your own, I'm sure you're more than capable, but there is no need for you to shoulder them all by yourself. So even if you don't want to talk to me, I still hope that there is someone you can turn to.

[Silence, more than a little stunned as he stares at the other, unable to quite get past his first words.]

Please, Yuui-sama, don't say things like that. I don't wish to make you worry about me anymore than I already have, but this isn't something that I can discuss with you.

[ For some reason that hurts. He wants Syaoron to be able to tell him anything, to want to share all of his secrets and problems with him. But that would be wrong. Even though he might, in some ways, be Syaoron's friend he was also his teacher, and as such there were boundaries he must be very careful not to cross. ]

I'm sorry. That was... unfair and inappropriate of me. Would some chocolates help? I have quite a few to spare.

While I'm certain your chocolate's are delicious, Yuui-sama, I'm afraid they won't. At least, not this time.

[He offers the other a soft, apologetic smile, pushing away from the desk and turning, intent on collecting his things.]

But I'm sure your brother will enjoy them very much.

[ Akito and Agito both knew that this would happen, yet for some reason they decided it was a good idea to go through with it anyway. If asked Agito will pin the blame solely on Akira and Akito, because he was never interested in a relationship of any kind in the first place. He just wanted to A-T and maim things.

But after Ikki got together with Ringo, and Onigiri found a girlfriend, and then Kazu and Emily... Akito was feeling lonely, and Akira was there. And he understood. At least to some degree. They began spending time together like they did before Ren-Fah, though this time Akito was spending more time with him than Agito was.

Akito remembered that his first crush had been on Akira; the way his hair spiked at the ends, and the way the muscles in his back could be seen moving even through his t-shirts. His eyes were a nice, golden caramel... Eventually Akito found himself admiring these things again, until he gave into impulse and kissed his childhood friend.

Things developed from there - slowly and carefully, but surely. They had been so very careful not to let Kaito know. Eventually, however, they slipped up and were caught.

Which is why Akito is now carefully rubbing ointment into the bruises littering Akira's chest and shoulders, quietly ignoring his own bruises in favour of keeping an ear out for any more surprise attacks. ]

I think he was just mad that we didn't tell him.

He's always mad.

[ There's humor behind his words, his tone all too calm and soft for someone that had just been shot at. It could have been worse, he thinks. Over the time he's gotten to know the Wanijimas, Akira has learned to differentiate between Kaito's varying levels of anger, and being mad enough to part with them after only a few bruises and a shitload of screaming was nowhere near to how bad he knew it could get.

As for him, his concern lay on Akito. Akira was lucky enough that his bruises would likely be gone come morning and that even now if it wasn't for them being visible he wouldn't notice, but Akito was a different story.

He reaches up to wrap his hand around the other's wrist then, in hopes of stopping him for a moment and taking the ointment. ]

Here, let me. He'd probably throw another fit if yours got too bad.

[ It's something he only learned in that final battle - the fear that Kaito had of losing him. Akito can understand his father-brother better now, and it's easier to forgive him for his actions, though that doesn't mean he approves of them.

He looks up at Akira when his wrist is grabbed, offering up a small, lop-sided smile. He knows that Kaito approves of their relationship in his own way. If he didn't, neither of them would be conscious right now. ]

I'm almost done with yours. Let me finish, and then you can help with mine, okay?

[ He definitely couldn't argue with that. Kaito cared in his own way, even if the way he chose to show it was horrid. ]

Fine, fine. If you insist.

[ Akira releases his wrist and reaches forward to run that hand through Akito's hair, tucking a few strands behind his ear so that the tips of his fingers are ultimately touching the side of his jaw ever so lightly.

Yes, he was staring. Being distracting was his middle name, coupled by the thought that now he could actually do simple things, as small as holding Akito's hand while they sat around and watched movies, without needing to hide. ]

[ Akito still isn't quite used to the gentle touches that come with being in a relationship, so they surprise him more often than not, though he's always quick to lean into them with a small, contented smile, like he's doing now. He loves it when Akira does that with his hair. Or when he holds his hand. Or when he hugs him close. Or when he's just there.

He loves that Agito likes it too.

Akito tries not to let himself get too distracted, but he does, and so it takes a bit longer to finish treating Akira's wounds than he had planned. He places his hand on Akira's forearm once he's done, enjoying the fact that he can. That he doesn't need a reason to be close to him, or touch him. ]

Ne... You know... I think I would rather be shot a thousand times than have Kaito-nii try to give us 'the talk'.

[ If Akito were paying close attention he would notice a visible shudder at those words. ]

Aah, but can you imagine just how ridiculous it would be? I can't picture him calmly explaining things at all!

[ His head shakes at the thought, sending his own brown locks shifting about and in need of running his free hand over them before he reaches for the ointment Akito had been previously using. He takes a moment to warm it between his fingers before carefully reaching over toward Akito to return the favor. ]

[ Akito does notice - makes a habit of noticing, because Agito isn't the only territorial one. It makes him laugh, suddenly imagining his father throwing books at them before stalking away angrily. ]

He would probably get frustrated and shoot at things if he tried.

[ He watches Akira fix his hair. He wants to fix it for him, but there are some disadvantages to being short Akito never noticed until they were in this relationship. Instead, he settles for focusing on Akira's hands. They're large enough to dwarf his in spades, and it's something that never ceases to fascinate him. Right now they're warm and slick on his skin. It makes him think of other places those hands could go, and what they could do. Things that they've never dared try before.

Akito shivers and hums out a pleased note. He's always loved being touched, so he does his best to savour every moment. ]

_{[If there's one thing about Gilbert when he's drunk it's that not only is he pathetic, but that he lacks any filter whatsoever. It's as amusing as it is embarrassing, especially when that lack of a filter leads to bumbling, teary eyed confessions and embarrassment all around. Thankfully, Gilbert passed out soon after, but that didn't mean Oz hadn't been left to process the confession for the rest of the night.

Had Gilbert's words been sincere? Had it simply been the wine talking? Who knew.

Morning rolled around soon enough and Oz found himself rolling in bedsheets, shielding himself from the glare of the sun as curtains were opened and he was, to his displeasure, being told to get up. A groan and the pillow was placed over his head, held in place by a firm grip.]}

[Gilbert and drinks were never a good combination. So the fact Oscar had given them more "juice" again...it was only natural that it was going to end in disaster. For the life of him most the night had become a blur all he knew was that he had woken up with one hell of a headache, he could only hope he didn't do something to trouble Oz. Honestly he needs to get a better tolerance for most things...

Only one problem did bother him though. As much as a blur as the night was, he couldn't help but to feel like he told Oz something he mean but shouldn't have said. God he hoped he didn't say something stupid.

Waking up like usual, despite his hang-over, Gilbert enters the young master's room and moves to open the curtain. Met with a normal reaction he smiles and lets out a light laugh, moving to the bed and pulling the covers lightly.]

It's already late though, I let you sleep in some.

[Yukina is an ice demon/apparition from a race without men. Her kind reproduce asexually and live on a floating island away from everyone else. However, she's disavowed their way of life and left, criticizing them for being too cold.
