![]() hidden relationship; The fact that you're in a relationship with this person isn't public knowledge. Actually, no one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not supposed to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own. Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. In a way, it's ideal. ...still, do you ever wish you could scream from the rooftops how much you care for your significant other? how to play.

It took some doing, but they finally actually made it work, actually arranged to have a few days off and unless the world was actually about to end no one was going to bother them. Steve had even silenced his phone, if he wasn't able to turn it off completely.
The cabin in the woods was cozy, simple, and most importantly there wasn't another soul for miles. Sitting out on the front porch, a porch swing something he'd never had the simple pleasure of sitting on before coming out there, Steve had to appreciate the quiet. There wasn't a sound except for Lois moving around inside and the rustle of a soft breeze through the trees.

But here they were, feeling like the only people in the world, tucked away amidst the woods and the wide open air. She'd chosen a few days when Clark could take cover for her at work and her assigned stories could take a brief pause from her attention. Lest the world be in trouble of coming to and, neither of their cell phones should be ringing for the weekend.
Steve's more of a morning person than she is, up and about for far longer before she manages to roll out of bed. It takes her a bit to get herself out of the bathroom, taming her hair and washing her face before she ambles out in her pajamas, two mugs of coffee in her hands.
"Morning, handsome."
no subject
"Morning." He let his arm wrap around her shoulders, pulling her comfortably against his side. "I was starting to think I'd finally worn you out." They'd spent the night sort of celebrating finally getting the time away from everything, not worrying about whether neighbors could hear them, not worrying about being seen together. Trying to keep every promise they'd ever made to each other about the time away.
It hadn't been quite the start they might have hoped for, but they had all the time they wanted for once and, for once, none of the need for her was about getting as much as he could in whatever short time they had.
no subject
"Mm, maybe you did," she smirked, resting her head against him and taking a sip of her coffee. "But I liked it. A lot." Her free hand squeezed his thigh affectionately, her gaze staring out at the snow covered trees a moment. Soaking in the peace of it. The quiet. Only the birds around to hear them moan.
Craning her neck up to press a kiss to his jaw, she shot him a small smile. "Though I'm pretty sure you already cracked the bed frame last night.
no subject
"I think we can safely say if anything's cracked it was a team effort." Lois wasn't the one likely to break things because she forgot to hold back just a little, though. Steve had learned to live a life after the serum but there were some things, some times, when he forgot. She tended to be the cause of most of those times. "But that just means we'll have to be more careful."
About where in the cabin they got out of control, got a little rougher with each other, that was. There was no chance of it not happening again at least once in the next few days.
no subject
"Oh, I never said it wasn't," she chuckled, hand dragging affectionately over his thigh as she sipped at her coffee. He did tend to break things more often than she did, only due to his strength, but that didn't mean she wasn't to blame some of the time. "Mm. Careful. We can do that," she shrugged, not at all convincing in her tone. She leaned up to press another kiss to his cheek, shooting him a smile.
"How strong do you think this porch swing is?"
no subject
If anything, the place still standing when they were back to their lives would probably be a nice surprise for the owners.
He glanced up to where the swing was attached to the porch roof, feigning thoughtfulness. Truth of it was, if they let themselves go completely, forgot to be careful because they were too wrapped up in each other, nothing was safe. Still. "You know, looks pretty sturdy to me. I'm no carpenter but..." Steve pushed a foot against against the porch to start them swinging gently. "Seems well made."
no subject
Until they checked out, anyway. But that was days away.
She chuckles when the porch starts to swing, handing him her coffee mug to set on the table near him before shifting onto her knees.
"You gonna keep me warm out here, soldier?"
no subject
"Might have to. It is pretty chilly." Not cold enough for Steve to want to stay inside, and he was no fan of the cold these days, but more than cool enough there was no risk of melting snow. If they managed to spend more than a few minutes admiring the scenery at any point, it would almost be romantic. He was a lost more interested in the woman beside him in the moment, though.
"Should I invite you to go back inside?" He clearly had no intention of doing so, instead reaching for her hip to gently pull her toward him. "Give you a blanket?"
no subject
It makes her want to soak up as much of it as she can, soak up as much of him as she can. Beaming up at him, she shifted in closer, pressing a few soft kisses along his neck.
"I like it out here. You're warm enough for the both of us."
no subject
"Am I?" There was teasing in his voice, but he angled his head slightly to give her a little more room at his neck. His grip on her tightened, all but pulling her right into his lap.
Steve couldn't really argue the warmth. He was definitely feeling a little warmer all of a sudden.
no subject
She climbed easily into his lap, straddling his hips and taking his head in both her hands. Smiling down at him, she pressed a kiss to his lips, soft and sweet and lingering.
"Getting warmer."
no subject
He didn't need to help anything now. He smiled into her kiss, let his hands settle low on her hips, pressing lightly even if he didn't need to hold her there.
"You sure? I'm feeling a bit chilly." The opposite of, but warming him up was a good reason to keep going. As if either of them needed a reason.
no subject
A very long, very committed casual fling, apparently.
She hums a smile, pressing kisses down his jaw and along his neck, her hands slipping under his shirt.
"Depends. Would you rather fuck me out here on the porch swing or next to the fire place?"
no subject
"Maybe I'd rather fuck you here, over that railing right there," he sort of half gestured with a tilt of his head, careful not to dislodge her attention from his neck, "in the doorway, on the couch, and next to the fire place." A tall order, one that would likely take half if not the whole day to fill, but the intention behind it was the part that mattered.
Steve just wanted her, regardless of the where, and he wasn't willing to ask her to stop just because there was a bit of a bite to the breeze around them.
no subject
"Oh, I think we're gonna need to make ourselves a list. Christen the whole damn place, don't you think?"
She nipped at his lower lip, pushing his shirt further up his chest.
no subject
"Damn straight. We've got to make the most of being out here." Once his shirt dropped to the deck his hands were right back on her ass to pull her in sharply, close enough to feel him starting to harden beneath here. He leaned in to catch her lip lightly between his teeth, just for a second. "This is the vacation you signed up for, Lane."
no subject
She's grinning widely as she pulls off his shirt, dragging her hands up and down his chest and starting to work on his belt.
"Mm. Well, if you insist," she murmurs, sucking hungrily on his lip.
no subject
Lois was way more than just sex but he really did enjoy that part.
With a gust of a laugh he pushed his hands beneath her top, no hesitation in pulling it off of her even if it interrupted her working his pants open. Getting her exposed to the cool air, immediately cupping her breast while he leaned in to press his lips to her neck, was more important.
