EMOTION POTION MEME

Characters find themselves in a cafe, a restaurant, their own home, anywhere with a potion in hand. Whichever potion they drink will make them feel an intense emotion towards the first person they see - so intense they can't possibly hide it. If two characters drink the same potion, it's intense, but it's even worse if they drink different potions.


001. Love - They're in love with the first person they see! They would die for them!

002. Hate - The first person they see is about to get it. They suddenly realize all those annoying quirks about their friends drive them ABSOLUTELY INSANE.

003. Jealousy - Why do they have everything YOU obviously deserve?

004. Lust - Oh my God. Why didn't you realize how hot they were before?!

005. Protective - This person is such a fragile little flower, and it's up to you to protect them from all the dangers of the world! In fact, they can never leave your sight again!

006. Possessiveness - How could they have talked to that other girl/boy in third grade?! It's time for you to set them straight and make sure that NEVER happens again.

007. Guilt - You're so sorry for everything you've ever done to them - even if you haven't done anything, you're sorry for everything you're ever going to do!

008. Superiority - They're so dumb and ugly and you're SO smart, clever and everything else under the sun. Do they honestly think they even deserve to breathe the same air as you?

009. Inferiority - You're so dumb and ugly, and they're SO smart, clever and everything else under the sun. Do you honestly think you even deserve to breathe the same air as them? And the answer is, no, you don't.

[ It had been an ordinary day of chilling. Kicking back, eating junk food, slurping down some AJ. Dave was in the kitchen, scoping out the rest of their food supplies - turned out there wasn't much left, and damn did Dave have an unquenchable thirst for Donettes right now. He closes the kitchen door and turns to John. ]

Yo, John. So the food situation's going downhill quicker than a brown fox jumping over a lazy dog. The supplies are almost out and I don't think we'll make it.

Luckily, there's a Walmart, like, two blocks away where we can restock. Up for the adventure, soldier?

[ Before waiting for John's response, he starts out the door. But not before finishing off his AJ! There's two blue glasses on the counter, and he picks the one on the right. It tastes sort of funky, but he did leave it out for awhile. He shrugs, downs the rest and opens the door. ]

Nights out on the Citadel were almost always filled with some sort of issue. The place was barely back up and running, but the clubs resurfaced fairly quickly. They were quick to repair to give the people a place to unwind and relax. It's fairly easy to get clogged up with all these repairs and this new tension circling around. No longer do the species need to work together to stop the Reapers. It's business as usual for bigotry and asshole remarks. The humans get a little more respect, but it's still glares and condescending tones. The only humans that don't receive that treatment are the ones from Shepard's crew. Maybe it's fear or something else keeping it from happening.

Sometimes Joker gets drunk and EDI has to carry him home. Sometimes Javik and Liara get into screaming matches in the markets, but it's never anything serious. Sometimes Garrus or Vega get into a fight down in the docking bay. It's easy to find conflict with a crew as big and rowdy as Commander Shepard's. They're not an easy bunch to wrangle in or give orders to outside of the battlefield. One person he has trouble giving orders to is his bed mate who feels the need to threaten anyone who so much as gives Shepard a longing look. Man or woman. She wasn't afraid to tell them both to fuck off and never come back.

Currently? She's glaring at a woman that's four tables over knocking back drinks with two Asari commandos. The woman? Asari, but less commando and more dancer. She's clearly making eyes at Shepard. Shepard wouldn't have even noticed if Miranda wasn't looking her way constantly. He was knocking back another drink when he noticed Miranda stand.

Almost. Now he's thinking about Maxxie. How he's like a. A swan. A swan who's massively got his shit together. Maxxie's smart and talented and stable. He knows what he wants to do and he's probably good enough to do it. He's like Jal that way. And Tony. (Fuck Tony though.) But they don't matter, 'cause right now he's sat here with Maxxie and his sunny fucking disposition and all Chris can think about is how he's like a fish.

John did his best to keep his lips tightly shut. He didn't want to tell this man anything, but it was like he couldn't control himself. "I once admired you," he says mentally kicking himself.

The first problem is that Molly genuinely likes Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade. The second is she's pretty sure his marriage is on the rocks, assuming what Sherlock said at the Christmas party has any truth (which, as experience says, it does). Once she'd pushed past her own embarrassment at the ever-perceptive eyes and ever-running mouth of the consulting detective, Molly realized that Greg Lestrade had something much more hurtful to deal with.

In her deepest thoughts, she could not fathom why anyone would cheat on a man as compassionate as Greg. He and Molly had been quite good work-friends, chatting here and there during cases. She saw him much more frequently than Sherlock did; she didn't just do post-mortems for the 'unusual' cases. She did what Sherlock call the "boring murders" too.

That was why she felt compelled, as a friendly colleague of Greg's, to do something to cheer him up. He hadn't spoken much about his current personal affairs, nor would Molly dare to pry. But there was nothing wrong with picking up a tiny gift or two for a friend on your day off, was there?

Which led Molly to the third problem in this scenario. A problem which she had yet to realize. The kindly shop-keeper who persuaded her to buy some tea also threw in "free samples" of a new brew they were planning on selling. The woman claimed they made for good sweeteners with tea. So when Molly shows up later at Lestrade's office, she has the free samples with her. Out of sheer curiosity, she picks up one of the tiny vials and pours it into her cup. Sally was kind enough to direct her towards the break room to prepare the tea; she wasn't entirely sure what Lestrade's case load was like at the moment, so she at least wanted to bring him a friendly cup in case he wasn't available for full-on visitors.

Awkwardly balancing her purse, two cups of tea, and attempting to knock on his office door proved more difficult than she anticipated. The liquid of her own cup began to slosh dangerously, and had to take a quick sip to prevent spillover. At that thankful moment, Lestrade opened the door. She met him with a bright smile. "Hello! Um, I was in the neighborhood and thought you might like some tea?"

[Orihime didn't know why a potion needed to be consumed at all if it was only going to change a person's emotions. Still, it was supposed to be temporary, and she had to admit that she was curious. As long as she had someone else around to make sure she didn't flip out too horribly, this was all right. So she drank.]

[Slowly her feeling of dependence on Gilgamesh for security began to change. He was so nice to her...and so handsome. Why was he even bothering with a poor girl like her with no money and no family? Her shoulders wilted. She shouldn't even be here with him. He deserved sooooooo much more...]
