Mirror, mirror, on the wall
mirror, mirror on the wall

The apple of your eye. The light of your life. The one who sets your heart on fire. Whoever that person is, the heart-shaped mirror will reveal their image. Instead of showing your own reflection, it shows them, and now everyone else in the vicinity can see the truth of your feelings. Uh oh.

- Comment with your character and share an image of the person your character most wants to smooch. If there's more than one person they really want to smooch, then the mirror might flicker between multiple images. If there's no one, they'll see a blank surface.
- Other characters can also see what your character sees. However, when another character stands in front of the mirror, the image will switch to whichever person that character wants to smooch.
- Have fun and tag out!

raven | teen titans
Nope.
With a flick of her wrist, she turns the mirror towards the wall with her own magic. You might just see (if your glance is quick) a glimpse of your reflection in the glass. ]
Theseus | Hades
no subject
He goes to greet him with a half-lifted hand but stops when he notices he is distracted by the mirror's surface. His eyes squint, and he can see the curve of a sharp horn and a partially bovine profile from this angle. ]
Is that Asterios?
no subject
But he perks up at a familiar voice addressing him, and becomes brighter still at his friend receiving his deserved recognition. Granted it's a bit of a cheat, history's not exactly crawling with bull-headed men. But it matters little to Theseus. He gestures at the reflection, showing off the static image of his brother in arms.]
Indeed it is the mighty Asterius! I see he needs no introduction, for his legend precedes him!
no subject
His head dips in a silent, polite greeting when he acknowledges him. After this, he walks closer and stops to inspect the reflection. The bull-headed man does not look very ferocious, though he has not expected him to. After becoming familiar with two versions of them. ]
He looks formidable. [ He remarks, nodding along to Theseus' comment of the legend. He strokes his chin, staring at the image in front of him. ] I admit the one of my world— [ And the less friendly, albino version that used to dwell in Atlantis, he thinks back at the Lostbelt Servant who was misplaced into Russia. ] Asterios is just as imposing in height, but his face is younger.
[ Human too, besides the horns and other odd features such as his red eyes and sharper canines. ]
no subject
[Of course, it was inevitable as soon as it was confirmed that there are versions of Theseus himself and his story present in other worlds. There's no Asterius without Theseus and and no Theseus without Asterius. They are destined to be two halves of the same existence.
Theseus' excited mood falls slightly, as he turns to gaze at the picture of his friend.] I suppose the incarnations of myself are similarly distinguished. Their relations with Asterius may not have taken the same course as mine.
no subject
[ He confirms Theseus' easy deduction. But the fact and legend are not always the same. He has not met his Heroic Spirit counterpart to be aware of his lingering regret as he comforted the dying 'monster.' "I wanted to save you."
He also knows of one Asterios without Theseus that existed still in one of the isles of the Atlantic Lostbelt, but such revelation is better to remain unspoken. That one perished in the frozen land of the lost history of Russia. Perhaps a Theseus did exist, yet he never journeyed the same way, never met the "minotaur." Similarly how Odysseus never met Penelope and never created the famous horse. There were no heroes in the land ruled by the Demiurge Zeus. ]
What happens after must also be different. Young Asterios has been invoked to battle to protect humanity like other heroes and anti-heroes. That is the natural role for anyone who forges a legend under that system.
[ That's the best explanation he can spin without resorting to technical labels like "Servant" and "Counter Force." Those terms are easily misunderstood out of their context.
His gaze drifts from the mirror to Theseus' face, realizing his sudden dampened spirits, eyebrows creasing as he wonders what caused such a shift. ]
I would expect this. Unless I am mistaken, you also had a chance to work beside him for a long time. [ He interjects, thinking about the information Theseus has disclosed from the shared tasks he and Asterius perform for Hades. ] Doubtlessly, that must have forged a bond of close camaraderie and trust.
[ Perhaps the man appears in the mirror because he misses him the most? It sounds possible, though it does not explain why Kirschtaria has seen no one. Not his teacher, nor his team, nor his most trustworthy Servant. ]
no subject
Yes, our brotherhood is the strongest bond either of us have forged, in our lifetimes and beyond. If there is anything could change the course of our fates, that would be it.
[Theseus pauses, clearly not over his malaise. But to explain would mean revealing just a little more of himself to Kirschtaria. Kirschtaria has never once betrayed him or even disclosed his sizeable knowledge to others as far as Theseus is aware, but to Theseus every point of possible vulnerability is precious. Ultimately the desire to unload the burden of his memories is greater than his insecurity.]
It was when we were first reunited in Elysium. As I came to know Asterius, I realized how little of his life was deserved. I just think it a shame that there exist instances of myself who never learned of the real man.
i'm so sorry for the delay! holiday craze devoured me and spat me out

Shuu Fujiwara | Tsurune
He does not match the person looking into the glass, who's wearing a school uniform and looks stunned rather than jubilant. It's not every day that you catch your sports rival flashing you a smile from behind a mirror, and so Shuu stands there, staring in shock.]
no subject
He glances over Shuu's shoulder, curious to see what's so shocking. ]
--Huh? Is it broken? [ Not that broken mirrors are supposed to do that... ]
no subject
... I'm not sure that's the word for it.
[The glass isn't cracked. If the intention is to play footage then it's doing that correctly: Minato's actually moving behind the glass, laughing as he chats with his team. Which only raises more questions in Shuu's mind. Who took this footage? Minato's coach?
Still feeling spooked, he goes back to studying the rivalface.]
It seems to be a video-player.
[Though even as Shuu says it, the words don't feel right. Something tells him that there's more going on. Not to mention that his explanation would require some person out there to possess a heart-shaped video-picture frame that they use to display clips of Minato, and Shuu doesn't like that idea one bit. Instead of speculating further, though, he's just going to zone out and stare.]
no subject
Oh, I get it... Like some kinda Harry Potter prop. Someone get it at Universal?
[ Pardon his reach as he just goes ahead and grabs one side of the mirror to flip it over to see the back. There's a flash of something red for the split-second it's tilted in his direction, but it doesn't last long. ]
no subject
[Though this is pretty advanced for a picture frame...
He blinks when he catches that flash of red. It's gone in an instant, though, leaving him to stare at the flipped mirror. He would've expected to see some sort of compartment in the back, but there's nothing. Hmmm.]
... not sure how it opens.
[Or if it opens. It looks like a solid object.]
no subject
[ Sometimes these things slip his mind, coming from a more traditional household. Not that he pays their regular unmoving family photos any mind, since he's not even in any of them. ]
You'd think it'd at least have a charger slot, or even just the brand name...
[ Maybe it's homemade? Which makes it EVEN CREEPIER.
He flips it back around, facing him more properly this time so it can put his own little fixation on display. It startles him enough he almost drops the mirror. (Wasn't there much more red before? ...It's probably nothing.) ]
What the-- Sanada-!
[ But wait! There's more! Like a boy with the face of a yakuza thug and the heart of a german shepherd! Following that, a few women who model in certain types of magazines, none of whom Masamune even recognizes with their clothes on. ]
Oi! Oioioioi wait, go back! [ He shakes the mirror as though that'll accomplish anything. ] What the hell was that?!
no subject
He's growing more baffled by the minute. Not that it matters how the video-player charges; the mere fact of its existence is what's troubling him. Was the frame put up to prank him? Or does Minato have some sort of stalker? Neither option is ideal, but it's the latter that weighs on him. Minato's the type who might not notice a suspicious person lurking around, which makes things worse. Shuu should take out his phone and message him—
... or he could stand there and raise his eyebrows at the new guy who just popped up. (Funny that the second Mirror Man is also wearing a bandana.)
Shuu blinks owlishly as the image behind the glass shifts from Red Bandana to Gruff Guy to a bunch of random women. Then, finally, he lifts his eyes to look at Masamune.]
.......
[It's official. He has no idea what's going on. But after a few moments of watching Masamune jostle the frame, he goes ahead and asks,]
You know those people?

Maina Ichii | Oshibudo
Maina stands there and gapes.]
E-Eripiyo-san?!
no subject
I think this thing is broken! [ Despite the yelling, she’s probably just talking to herself. Maybe? But then, a gasp. ] Does this mirror show you what all your friends are doing?! How cute, oh man. I think I’ll keep it!
[ Hm. Well… Anyone feel like crushing those dreams of hers? ]
haru koyama | jk haru is a sex worker in another world
It is a little creepy to have him suddenly appear in the mirror, though! She ends up jumping backwards, then staring in disbelief. Uhhh.]
What kind of magic is that?
[Is he, like, trapped in there? She reaches out a hand, touching a finger to the glass.]
Yoshiaki Mogami | Sengoku Basara
Ah. ]

no subject
[ He doesn't even look up to see who's speaking to him! Too focused on twisting and tugging the end of his goatee into the perfect point. The reflection, of course, does the same. ]
no subject
Gah! I know Asterius' mane is spotless, what about me!?
no subject
[ He staggers back a few paces, pinwheeling his arms so melodramatically it must be played up. Right? Right??]
How dare you! Don't you have any idea who I am?!
[ Who he is, is a man who would not dare draw a weapon on somebody so Big McLargehuge. If anyone asks, it's pacifism, not cowardice. He is a lover, not a fighter! So on and so forth.
He sniffs indignantly and smooths down his cravat. ]
If you're that desperate for my likeness - and who wouldn't be? - I do have several ink paintings, all personally signed, for such an... oh.
[ He's finally noticed the (bizarrely handsome?!) ox. The mirror thief is beefy, but this is ridiculous. ]
What... on earth have you done to it?
no subject
The same to you! For your information, you are addressing a King! I simply retired to refresh myself, but every mirror is cursed to show my blood brother instead!
[So engrossed he is in his quest Theseus has not been thinking about any meaning to the reflections. Or perhaps he's engrossing himself to such an extent on purpose, subconsciously. Either way he won't have anyone questioning him, including himself.]
no subject
[ There's a good degree of skepticism in his voice, but he won't dismiss the notion completely-- just in case. A foreign ally could be beneficial, after all. And Yoshiaki knows that his own generous friendship is desired around the globe! ]
Of where, might I ask?
