THE MUSEBOX/OPEN RP POST SHARE & INVITE MEME You have a musebox or an open RP post where people can come and interact with your characters in a free-form space. Cool. Lots of people do these days. But how do you get people to know about it and actually use it? Well, if you're in a game or close friends on Plurk, you can just tell them; otherwise, you may feel a little awkward trying to beg people you've tagged on memes to come and hit you up for a ship, a fight thread, or anything in between. No more! This post is for sharing your musebox and your open RP posts and maybe, just maybe, working up the courage to ask that person you've been eyeing on memes to thread or PSL with you. Who knows? Maybe they'll come to you! HOW TO Comment with your muselist or telling us who you commonly play. In your comment, include what you're looking for in RP, whether be it one-shot threading or PSLing. If you're not exactly sure what you want, be sure to at least list what your prefer NOT to play. Hi! I'm Naima and I play a handful of people. Right now my main would really be Merida right here. Though I'm willing to drag out Lilo, Madoka, Mulan and possibly Ariel for ridiculous times. My OC Nike is also open for shenanigans though I've been slower with her tags as of late.

I love PSLs and one-shots. Though, honestly, I love long drawn out plotlines. I'm cool with shipping and friendships and what have you. I'm even cool with smut, but in the case of the above listed girls I'd only be comfortable with doing that with Nike, Mulan and Merida. And honestly I'd be more comfortable with a lot of build up to it. The muses just have to click for me. Really I'm up for anything and everything, as long as you're friendly and ask.

As for who? I have a soft spot for animated canons, I miss seeing all the disney/pixar/dreamworks muses around. But I've threaded with tons of people with all my girls. Merida's met Kirk, Merlin, Ezio. Lilo's met a Sherlock. Nike's talked to just about anyone under the sun. Same with Mulan. So really. I'm down.

Hey, my name is Kris, and I play ... wow, a lot of Homestucks, to be honest. Right now I have journals for Kanaya, Dave, John (duh!), Rose and Terezi. I also enjoy playing Aradia, and ... she'll probably get hers soon enough.

One-shots are fun, but what I'm really looking for right now are PSLs. I'm okay with smut, but not PWP per se, the characters need to click. I like stuff with an actual plot, even if it ends up being background to character shenanigans. I'm excessively fond of AUs, and have approximately 5.1 trillion of them that I've done over the years.

Generally speaking, I prefer the characters be aged up to be 18+. As far as romances go, I go for M/F and F/F stuff (especially Kanaya, because she's not so much into the dudes), though M/M stuff in the pale quadrant is fine too. I prefer the pale and flushed quadrants to the caliginous one. This makes sense if you're in the Homestuck fandom, I swear.

Kanaya is very open to female characters for romance in flushed or pale quadrants. Terezi is open to both female or male characters, especially Dave or Karkat in flushed. John would bonk large monsters with hammers for a Rose in the flushed quadrant. Dave favors Jade above all others, but Terezi or Aradia would be cool in flushed too.

As for cross-fandom stuff, I'm not against it, though right now I'm mostly looking for Homestucks. I've been a little starved of Homestuck RP lately.

Sup, my name is Pash and I play a good amount of characters here. (I have OC's as seen above, but I'm mostly interested in interactions with the fandom pups. Hello, I'm Caitlin and I've got a recent list of my characters here. There's a lot of Marvel going on there, as well as a few other fandoms. I'm kind of restarting over here at dreamwidth so I'm looking for pretty much anything. I like PSLs, crossovers, friends... I love everything, really. I'm just a huge fan of CR, so please come build some with me. I'd especially love a Sue Storm for my Reed Richards, and maybe some lines for my Seamus Finnigan and Charlie Weasley. I'm Neko. I'm extremely boring as a person, so that's all the intro you'll get. I am up for playing anything! I'm good for friendships (love ♥ ♥), camaraderie, hate, ships, violence, adventure, etc. If it exists, I'll probably play it. I do admit to shipping being a favorite of mine and my weakness, but I don't require it. I do ship just about anything if there's good chemistry, though, so if that's up your alley, I can definitely help you out. I don't have a preference either way with regards to one-shots or PSLs. Whichever you'd like I can work with. Crossovers are my ultimate favorites. In fact, sometimes it feels like I prefer them! Hi! My name is Mo and I play and assortment of guys over here. Mostly anime/manga characters but there are a couple LA ones as well. I'm not in any games currently so I mostly post them to memes. My current favorites to play are Staz and Sahu. I really love obscure/rare canons as you can probably tell. I also play a handful of Homestuck Characters (John, Karkat, Signless, and Fem!Dave) but I haven't actually read the comic since the beginning of December so I am kinda REALLY behind on it so they aren't listed. I am cool with both one shotting and longer plot lines. While most of my characters are open for smut and shipping there are a few notes, Vince is pretty off limits as far as shipping goes, he loves his wife and even just in memes and private stuff I feel it'd be too OOC of him to be with anyone else. Sahu and R are both zombies so unless they are completely humanized/aliveified(?), no smut for them. Shipping is fine though! All my characters are pretty much OTA, though some character do lean more towards het.

I loooove love love crosscanon stuff. I kinda have to considering most of my characters are from obscure stuff. My dream is to one day find a Captain America so he and Rocketeer can go punch Nazis together I love playing out friendships and hijinks and adventures so if you ever feel like it, hit me up! What up, folks!

I have a few different PSLs that I'm looking for at the moment, each for the main muses that I'm playing. So, here goes:

The Dark Knight Rises / I play barsad, and I would kill to have a Bane or two to play off of in order to do the kinky stuff. Really kinky stuff, like pain/torture, and psychological fuckery; I'd especially love to do early recruitment things of how Barsad came to join him. Additionally, I have a John Blake at in_your_bones who would love to play Bane/Barsad/Blake funtimes.

Star Trek / mostly Deep Space Nine? / I play gard, the Hiziki Gard symbiont from Trill. His job is to track down joined Trill who turn into serial killers, to protect secrets, and to generally be a smarmy, secretive, lonely bastard. Would be interested in playing him off of DS9 characters, extended universe characters, and in general sci-fi spyish sorts. I'd like to do some PSLs exploring his other host personalities, too. Not sure if I'm really expecting any hits on this one, admittedly.

Criminal Minds / I play inthishouse/Will LaMontagne, and would love to play off the team, especially JJ. Failing that, I'm interested in tossing him at law enforcement and criminal muses, and having him generally be sweet and stoic in their direction. Ships are fun, though by necessity definitely not taking place in a universe where JJ also exists.

The rest of my muselist is here; most of them I don't regularly play, but if any ping you, please let me know! The worst I can do is say I'm not feeling the character, which, guaranteed (especially if we haven't played together yet) is not your fault.

i'm j, and i'm most interested in playing in a psl with anna milton from supernatural. my musebox (auxology) has a post here where you can leave her prompts or threadstarters and the like (though i prefer the latter). i'm a very slow tagger due to some rl consequences, but i try not to drop anything. i like present-tense prose (or long-winded action brackets, whatever you'd like to call that) and i'm not adverse to shipping or smut, but i like a lot of character development too, and aus or whatever catches our fancy if there's writing "chemistry".

I'm a decent tagger but I will tell you if I'm going to be slow, and if I ever am, it's only for a short period due to something coming up. I'm totally good with shipping and friendshipping, everything is on the table.

I'm just looking for some stuff to invest myself in as I'm starting another year at uni very soon and would absolutely love to have something to unwind and use as a de-stressing tool when everything starts hitting the fan. I should warn that I am a slow tagger, but I backtag for as long as a thread has substance. I enjoy prose or action spam; I really, really enjoy pulling a storyline together that works towards developing a character and seeing where they might go that canon might have dropped.

I love PSLs a hell of a lot. working at a storyline in an environment that can be dictated by us (as games don't allow this) is a hell of a lot of fun for me. I like doing missing scenes and AUs and things set in the future and what ifs. I love shipping (and do mostly het, though I am not opposed to attempting to attempting slash). I'm cool with smut (that has plot!), but after a lot of conversation with the other player. cross-canon is also my favourite stuff, too! even if I'm not familiar with the canon, it's fun trying to see how two characters would mesh.

I prefer doing things in a musebox over a meme post (although I absolutely do not mind doing a meme in a musebox - it's just a different atmosphere altogether and it's easier to locate), whether yours or mine or we create a shared one; I have a open rp post.

As you may have noticed, I tend to wax long-winded, so a lot of my tags can get a bit TL;DR, I have this fetish for detail. Sorry! I'll play pretty much anything from fight scenes to smut and I have a huge soft spot for crossovers and AUs, like seriously I'll throw my psychotic assassin teenager in with your magical My Little Pony if it'll work. I love shipping, complete crack ships or canon ships or whatever in between, and definitely a whole buttload of character development, exposition, and relationship building. That being said my true love is fight scenes, I just love writing them for some reason so if you like those too awesomee! I've done smut before and it's okay I'm okay at it, I don't know if maybe its who I've played off of before but after awhile I sort of get bored of it, but I do play it. Honestly, I'm not at all picky when it comes to RP. I like PSL's as much as I do one shots. I love friendship, and shippy things, and AU and crack and long buildups and plot, seriously, I love it all.

There are days when I'm a super fast tagger, and there are days that I'm not. I do have other things going on, such as dealing with finding a job, a new apartment, and my daughter is 9 going on 39, so it all just depends on the day. Even if I'm slow, I will return tags, and I'm a pretty epic backtagger, to boot.

I'm not looking for anything in particular, just maybe new partners, new stories, and some fun.
