In fact, with the beauty of the fallen snow, the many holiday celebrations, and the myriad activities one can only do in cold weather... many might consider winter to be the most fun and romantic time of the year!

[ Susato is wearing a purple shawl around her shoulders today on their outing today to keep warm. Despite the cold, her face is absolutely alight with glee, seeing the festivities, the decorations, and just... the people. The atmosphere is so lighthearted, she's totally put it out of her mind that the last time they were in such a crowd, there had been murder.

Instead, she allows herself to be just a little less careful than usual, letting down her guard. She slips away for a moment, and soon returns with two cups in either hand, looking hot to the touch. Naturally, she'll offer him one. ]

[With the winter season, came the snow, a stark reminder that not everyone was in a festive mood. Demeter was melancholic; that was easy for anyone to see, and had been plastered to her daughter's side the entire party. Not that Hera could blame her, she would probably do the same in similar circumstances, but she wished her sister in all but blood could see that Persephone was a lot happier than she had probably been in a long, long time.

So was Hades.

It was ridiculous the lengths they had to go through due to her husband's paranoia about someone using Persephone's fertility magic to usurp him, but Hera for one was glad to leave it all behind them. In all her observations (and a little...well, ok, a lot of advice from Echo) Hera had come to face some things about Zeus' actions, and how Demeter's perception of her daughter's marriage was not too dissimilar to how she viewed her son's relationship with Aphrodite. She had been ready to dismiss the nymph's suggestions till she shared them with Hades and Persephone who seemed to be in agreement.

Sigh.

Hera hated being told she was wrong in any way, but she hated the idea of falling into the same pit of pride as Zeus. So it was when the crowd began to thin out that she finally approached Eros, and without much pomp.]
