[ it started when Xingchen was mending the broken roof and Xue Yang insisted on being his anchor - both hands at his waist or on the small of his back as the blind man climbed their rickety ladder to patch the hole, and there seems to be no end in sight. Xue Yang can barely help himself these days, entranced by the prim and proper way Xingchen attempts to defend his attempts at flirting and thoae rare times he gets a small smile from him. Why ever would he stop now? Xue Yang has never been a good student unless the topic is interesting, of course, and Xiao Xingchen certainly fits the bill.

At first, it was finding out the things that make him tick, perhaps latching on to this thing or that thing in hopes of grinding his gears in annoyance and making him frustrated or irritated, flitting around him like an obnoxious fly. By now, Xue Yang has come to enjoy the cute reactions he can get when he crosses the line. A simple lilt of his voice sometimes suffices, since his companion never can see the suggestive gestures he makes, although there are times when there needs to be a little more creativity to his advances, much like today while they're visiting the market.

Xue Yang can't help himself as he presses his palm to the small of his back for everyone to see. Surely Xingchen can feel the heat of their gaze as their all white Daozhang is guided by this devilish man in black and green. Sometimes they come with wares to sell, talismans crafted by Xingchen himself, and other times they're in town to buy a few groceries with their meager earnings and perhaps a sweet or two, if he's lucky enough. ]

Daozhang, they've put out fresh hawthorn candy today. Don't you think we deserve a treat?

There was next to no one in the cantina when Arha felt her way in, moving smoothly but carefully towards the bar. Weequay shifted and glanced up before pouring her usual, a cup of hot tea. She'd been there a few days, spending most of the first day sequestered and recovering from the overland trip to Mos Pelgo. The exhaustion was a heavy thing even now but now she could walk unaided.

Her bright red hair was mostly hidden under the shawl she'd wrapped around it in the desert fashion, her bright blue eyes peeking out from its recesses.

"Thank you, Weequay, that's perfect," she murmured, paying and taking a seat at one of the tables, her fingers curling around the steaming cup as she leaned forward to blow on it. The only other person in her line of sight was Cobb Vanth, Marshal of the village and she gave him a warm smile. Her head canted a little and she rose.

"Would you mind company?" she asked in a soft, gentle, voice that carried the short distance well. "It's been ages since I had anyone to talk with."

That was true enough for the last while at least. Since exiting the cryo pod, she found herself wandering from planet to planet before coming to Tatooine once more. Mos Pelgo was a quiet place to recover as she was still blind and ill from the long sleep she'd endured. It was in the way she held her gaze, just a little off from his face that said she wasn't really seeing him properly. She cupped her mug carefully and a few strands, curling in bright red fell free to curve against her cheeks.
