Want to RP a wedding? Want to RP something on the path to the wedding? Then this is your meme! Here's how it works:

4. Enjoy yourself!

1. Popping the Question. You've been together long enough, and you're sure the other person loves you just as deeply as you love them, and that that will not change. It's time to ask them to marry you. I hope they accept!

2. Meeting Your Spouse. Unlike the previous prompt, you didn't choose your spouse; rather, someone else chose them for you, and it's time to meet them. Will there be a spark between the two of you, or is this marriage doomed to unhappiness?

3. Choosing the Venue. Where will you get married? The church you've belonged to ever since you were a child? A luxury hotel? Down on the beach? We'll leave it up to you to decide!

4. Making the Guest List. Who will you invite? Who will you not invite? It's time for the two of you to work that out!

5. Engagement Party. It's you, your fiancé(e), and a group of your closest friends. Make sure to properly celebrate this occasion!

8. The Wedding. The day has finally come. Are you waiting at the altar for your spouse-to-be? Are you coming down the aisle? Where are you? Is it where you wanted to be? Regardless, this is a momentous occasion. Make sure to make it memorable enough to remember for the rest of your lives.

9. The Reception. The main event's over, now on to the party! Dance with your new spouse, or let a member of the wedding party say a few words over a glass of champagne. Cut the cake! Pull out the karaoke machine! This is your first party as a married couple, so enjoy it!

10. Guess What? We Eloped! Is the stress of all this getting to you? Well, there's one solution -- run off and elope! I hear the wedding chapels in Vegas are numerous and ornate...

11. The Wedding Night. The wedding is over, and you're both back in your room, and out of your wedding clothes. Will you just enjoy each other's presence? Will you go straight to sleep? Or will you take this chance to consummate the marriage?

12. The Next Morning. Last night, you went to bed together. This morning, you wake up together. Perhaps you want to stay in bed a little longer and snuggle closer to your spouse. Or maybe you want to wake up and make them breakfast before they wake up!

13. The Honeymoon. Welcome to paradise! The two of you are now celebrating your recent marriage by taking a vacation. Where will you go? Are you a beach person or a mountains person?

14. Wild Card. Roll again, pick any of the above, or create your own scenario!

She did return his Laser, and that was really why he'd come here, because of course he had to stop her, because of course she couldn't marry some other guy with broad shoulders and impeccable features and a damned sharp figure cut when he wore a suit without first returning his Laser. That was...that was the point. The unfinished business. They've finished it, here and now, with that one shot to the soul.

[Honestly, he's not particularly inclined to walk away at all, but Yagyuu is, after all, a master of doing what needs to be done even if he doesn't like it. So he nods, vaguely.]

Take your time. I'll...ah. I'll be outside.

[ and she nods in return, holding the racket much like her original bouquet and heading back to her acting partner, who is either trying not to laugh or trying not to cry.

With his shoulders kind of drooping and his racket still in one hand at his side.

And that incessant, nagging feeling—

But then security catches up, and he shoulders his bag and goes, obligingly removed from the premises to await the completion of her project.]

[ it actually doesn't take as long as she'd thought, and some quick on-the-spot improvisation ensures that the movie still gets its desired publicity. It's only a little under an hour before Rise slips out, still in the wedding dress with her change of clothes in a bag over her shoulder.

[He's actually chilling across the street from the chapel by now, thanks to the guards who are enforcing the perimeter much more securely now after the first break-in.

He's fine, naturally. Maybe a little rumpled, but not in a way that makes him look unkempt or any less classy than he usually does. And he perks up a little at the sight of her (okay, maybe more than a little), because—why is she still in the dress?]

You're...ah, done, then?

Yeah. [ she looks tired, which is actually a large indication of her trust, but she musters a smile. ] I didn't want to keep you waiting, so I figured I'd change later.

I could've waited.

[He means, I would've waited.]

It suits you. It's a costume?

From the final scene. [ she seems to understand the underlying meaning, which is the only reason she doesn't reply to his first comment. There's no need to. ] The crew was joking about how it's bad luck to wear a wedding dress when you're not actually getting married, though.

I'm glad to know I proved them right with my arrival.

[He gets to his feet, glancing down to try to catch a glimpse of hers.]

Are you still wearing the shoes, too, or did you change?

[ she shifts subtly, just enough to reveal a glimpse of delicate beaded heels. ]

... I was in a hurry.

I suppose I won't ask to take you for a walk, then. I can't imagine those are comfortable to contend with.

[But wait. ...Oh. A hurry, was she?]

Not that I mind the presentation. You look...

I can manage. [ sincerely. Really, you learn how to deal with heels early on when you're on your feet for hours. But when she trails off, she blinks inquisitively. ] ...?

[He shakes his head a little, just sort of regarding her a minute.]

When I imagined all the different ways this reunion might take place, I have to admit I never went so far as to envision you in a dress like that.
