There are those who are missing but there are those, once dead, that have returned.
This place takes what it gives. ❦

This meme is for playing out all those wonderful character death moments! A free-for-all that let's characters who weren't around when Character A died get a second chance at having their hearts crushed personally. Didn't hear those last words? Your character will now be able to hear a possibly newer version of that. Someone forgot to close Character B's eyes when he died? Maybe Character C will do them this favor this time ♥

And what? They haven't died yet? Someone's resilient like a cockroach? They're from a slice-of-life canon that's just too darn happy for tragic deaths? Now you can make them die here! Here are some suggestions for the manner of their beautiful deaths: (Pick or RNG!)

1. Murder. Someone just shot your friend to the chest. Quick, hold them! Cover the wound! Listen to his final words and hope they're just sleeping when they finally quiet down...

2. For Justice. For Revenge. Assistance. Someone had to do it. Someone had to kill your friend. And you wanted it to be you. Now's your chance to apologize, to yell, to punch this person in the face for making you do this. Go on, this is your last chance to do this, after all. And if you do something truly bad, it's not like they'll live to pay tit for tat.

3. Poison. Sickness. One way or another. Food poisoning, snake bite, plain old poison or fatal disease. It's too late, this is the end. Comfort is the only thing you can give your friend.

4. Chasing warmth. It takes a while and you thought the two of you would pull together just fine. Your friend, however, is at the end of their rope. It's cold in this winter wonderland and maybe, if they sleep, when they wake up it'll be warm again.

5. An Accident. The knife slipped, cut something it shouldn't have. Or they fell off the stairs and fell too far, somewhere they shouldn't have. You're on the scene, or been there all along, but it's too late and all you can do is promise them they'll wake up again when they close their eyes. It's a lie, of course.

6. Borrowed time. Your friend's fine and fit as anyone can be. But they've got an expiration date and they know it. And at the end of it all, when you're done saying goodbyes and swimming in denial, they stop like clockwork. Unconventional but a death nonetheless.

7. Murder through you. Someone's making you do it. You didn't want to. Your hands moved and fired, stabbed, fed the poison. And when the deed's done, the strings are cut and you're left with your handiwork. Say sorry or goodbye? Which one will make the cut?

8. Your call. Mix, match, bring a third party. It's your choice.

[It's a sad fact of Lydia's life that she wasn't even surprised when she realized that she was being followed. She's had that niggling feeling in the back of her mind for so long, she had grown used to it — thanks a lot, Peter — but that also meant that she hadn't noticed what was going on until it was too late. She had been walking Prada right before bed, just wandering around the neighborhood, when she heard a twig snap behind her. What happened next is somewhat of a blur, but she remembers seeing a pair of eerie golden eyes in the shadows, remembers screaming as her tiny little dog got punted aside like he was nothing, remembers turning tail and running, running as fast as she could, her sandals slapping against the ground as she tried to escape.

Not again, not again, please, not again.

She'd made it into the woods before she tripped and fell, screaming bloody murder in the hopes that someone, anyone would hear her. The searing pain in her side quickly put an end to that foolish hope, however, sharp teeth sinking into her skin enough to shut her body down out of self-preservation. She didn't want to know what happened next.

When her eyes open, she's half-convinced she's dead. It's only when she tries to move and agony shoots up her side, making her whimper and squeeze her eyes shut again, that she realizes she hasn't been killed, not yet. But there's a numbness to her legs, a strange floating feeling in her head; it's going to happen soon.

But even in death, Lydia will always be curious, and so she twists her head around, trying to see what happened. What she sees is a pair of legs. Just the legs, no body. Biting her lip against a whimper, she looks up, and sure enough, there's the torso, swinging from a tree. Some small part of her remembers reading in the Argent's bestiary about the only sure way to kill werewolves being to cut them in half, but right now all she can focus on is the dangling ends of entrails, the slow drip of blood onto the forest floor.

She's too weak to scream again, but she wants to.]

[Perceptor barely ever ran. Aside from not having the body type built for physical activity, he usually had no reason to hurry. But this...was different. It was something Perceptor couldn't predict.

But if it shouldn't have, he wouldn't be running to the medical bay now. In fact, he almost tripped over someone on the way there, stumbling into the door that led to it. Upon arrival, his glasses pinpointed the large figure, and he hurries over.

[She shouldn't have tried to escape on her own. Should have learned from her first attempt to wait for R to help sneak her out, but she was pretty sure a couple of days had stretched into a week and she'd been desperate to get back home. She'd almost made it out, but eventually the corpses had taken notice of her. Julie thought it was all over when they surrounded her and ripped the chainsaw from her hands.

R had come to the rescue, but he'd gotten there a couple of seconds too late. One of the corpses had lunged and taken a bite out of her shoulder. She was pretty sure her scream must have echoed. Before she could react R was there, dragging her out of the circle to beat a hasty retreat back to the plane.

She was alive, but not for long. Holding a cloth to her shoulder, she sunk into a seat and tried not to break down into tears. She'd seen this happen before. Her mother had lasted a full two days before her father had to put a bullet in her head.

Closing her eyes tightly, she sucks in a deep breath. When she opened her eyes again R was there. Hovering too close as usual]

( This was bloody rediculous. The one time he allows backup and they don't come. James should have seen this coming, they wouldn't come in on time, they rarely ever did and when they would, it would be too late. The only thing they would find is Bond, sprawled on the floor, fist tightened against his chest as he previously battles with death. Hypothermia has killed many a man, it was only about time 007 finally meet his maker. The mission had went terribly wrong, the blonde had slipped into some thin ice, literally, as he fought against an assailant. Gasping for air, james submerged from the ice cold water and crawled over to a patch of grass, exhaustion claiming him as he waited for someone to find him. When he came to an hour later, bond was blue in the face, pale as pale as can get. Shivering full-force, bond laid there in a fetal position, trying to keep whatever little warmth he did have left. )
